Cool video. Pedernales Falls is a nice park. It has been a while since I've visited it.

It’s one of my faves!

I pass by this park every time we go to Austin.. so need to make a reservation but I may just get a day pass... cause getting a reservation to any start park right now is almost impossible. Thanks for the views! its on the bucket list for this year for sure though :-)

It’s probably my favorite park in the area. I enjoy how it’s close to town but feel like you’re plenty away, compared to McKinney falls which is basically next to the airport.

Good footage of the park, need to revisit to check out the other trails.

You must indeed! Aside from McKinney it’s my local park, so there’s definitely a ton to check out that I didn’t t cover.

@@TheTexasTrailhead I went earlier this year and didn’t explore all the trails. Visited the falls and bird blind. It has the nicest bird blind I’ve seen in a state park. How crowded was it on your visit?
@TheTexasTrailhead4 жыл бұрын
Nah it wasn’t too bad. Most of the people were on the upper falls. Saw just a few on the trail I was on.

Been to Pedernales a few times but haven’t done the wolf trail yet...good to see whats out there.

Awesome! Thanks for checking it out Ronie! It’s a fun trail for sure and one that doesn’t really get too crazy with terrain, but offers some fun history and water. Well, usually. Haha

@@TheTexasTrailhead was there a connecting trail from the twin falls area to trammels crossing?
@TheTexasTrailhead4 жыл бұрын
@@roniecalzoncinth9768 While on the map they are really close together, you can really just access each by going down the road to the opposite end of the campsite.
@roniecalzoncinth97684 жыл бұрын
@@TheTexasTrailhead the reason why I ask is we went down there before but the trail looked different. The entrance to trammels was by a rest room if I remember
@TheTexasTrailhead4 жыл бұрын
That’s right. Right across from it. Twins is in the same campsite, just on the other end of it. But you have to pretty much park at same spot for both since there isn’t a place to park at the twin falls trailhead.
