I know there is a lil delay between flash in the pan and the Fourth of July, but what the hell is going on with those pistols? Is it really coming down to the humidity?

It absolutely is. The humidity was 98% and the dew point 77. Imagine the pirates dealing with the same humidity in Nassau

Heck yea! They are sooo much fun. And really easy to clean with just water and soap. Another contributing factor to my mildly delayed ignition was using FFFG in the pan instead of FFFFg. But the way I see it they didn’t carry two powders with them in the field. Just seems silly to me to use two different powder grains.
