You have no idea how lucky I feel when someone trusts me enough from just watching my channel and makes the effort to come and see me so I can help their toenails. I really am blessed to have the support of all my viewers and it gives me such gratification to help people.
You heard her mention she saw how I helped a client correct a nail with acrylic but not all cases are the same. You can see at the end of her nails they are pretty thick and they are pinching in quite low on the sidewalls. I have been having success changing the position of the nail grooves purely by accident and we are going to see if it works for her today. So my goal is to reduce the thickness on the tip of the nail and moisturize the nail plate.
Your thinking how was it an accident I realized this. Clients who had an ingrown toenail and a nail fungus using the Nail mycosis solution all had their ingrown toenail resolve. the nail mycosis contains a Natural humectant that add moisture by drawing water molecules from the environment to the nail that increase the amount of water within the skin. their is no added water in the nail mycosis and the solution resolved the dehydration of the nail and the nail lifted out of the corners and stopped pinching.
So again, my goal is to reduce the thickness on the tip of the nail to cosmetically shape the nail and have her us the nail mycosis solution to lift the pinching corners out of the skin.

I know it may sound silly..BUT..the confidence you give your clients by reassuring them that nail issues happen it just astounding. A lot of people are embarrassed or troubled and won’t seek help due to possible judgement or criticism. Explaining the process really helps all of us understand that THINGS happen. Dead skin, sock fuzzies, dirt, soap scum etc doesn’t mean that you’re a dirty person! You do amazing work and you’re a gentle soul and I just love that about you!!!

I just found your channel because you did a pedicure for a woman that had an ingrown toenail removed by the Toe Bro.. You made her toes look normal after the procedure he did!! Hi you cannot believe my utter joy in finding you & your channel. I have literally cried. I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge with us who suffer in silence & shame x For years I have been going to a podiatrist & beauty salons, & not one person has explained that I have this issue, all tell me well’ sometimes nails just go this way, & its just something I have to put up with. You have shown me in 40 mins this is not true. 🙏 I work with abused dogs, to rehabilitate their minds & make them well again. & part of the process is to walk them many many miles, so my feet being healthy is vitally important to them & to me. It started with just one nail, but 12 years later all my nails are now like this pincer, & the 1st ones are now completely curved round & thick. Hello Lori, first of all I want to say how grateful I am that I found you...was looking for a way to fix my own big right toe. I injured it with a couch falling on it n now it grows bent n down into my nail bend. I now cut it a lil bit better but I'm thinking of asking my dr for a referral to podi dr to have the procedure for it not to grow...I stopped getting pedicures since I injured it about six years ago... Wow! I became a manicure tech in 1993. I live in Polson, MT and I learn more and more from your videos, not only the use of the tools, but the curve you put on the toes depending the problem. Each client is unique in their type of toes, that it is important to not dig, push, roll, or shove any tool or twist a nail file the wrong way to cause pain or have the nail curl the wrong way. Nail techs are not required by law to wear gloves barring bodily fluids such as blood 2. Washing your hands is still required with gloves. They are not a substitute 3. Potential fungal spores are removed via handwashing 4. Fungus requires a dark wet place to grow and Lori's hands simply don't have that criteria 5. Love watching your videos. I am watching from the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. I don't go to anyone in my area because they want to file to thin on my nail beds and they use a cutting tool for callus areas. So the information you provided helps with taking care of my nails and feet at home. I have Fibromyalgia and Psoriatic Arthritis and I am unable to work after dealing with these problems for over 15 years, but I use to work in health care as a secretary but when I had free time I enjoyed helping people with foot care. Another winner in my opinion! My favorites are the pincer and ingrown toenail video. Your work is always exceptional and I have started to feel so much better about my own nails as they tend to be ingrown and slightly in a pincer shape. I use blue cross cuticle remover about every two weeks but still get such a build up of skin around each nail that comes off... do you find that more common in clients with pincer/ingrown toenails?
