This means we can sell the defense since they will be the main reason why we won't make UCL next year. As much as i Like Pedro Neto, I agree with you. I do think our left side is our weakside but i don't think it was our biggest need especially since our defense was the main problem during the preseason. We need to make some big sales.

It blocks a path for George for an unreliable(fitness wise) player who for the price doesn't provide a high enough level to justify the risk if things go tits up. At the best should this project work out to the highest level neto won't be a starter and will be incredibly hard to move on should we want to (injury or not). Great talent but considering how shaky our lhs is right now I would take less talent and more reliability. Plus the defense thing too
