I love these videos, David. Is this what rings out that first chord in Modesto? I wondered if that was a P90 because my SG Junior has a strikingly similar voicing. The SG Junior is the first guitar in about 10 years that I've felt is "mine", so I fully get what you were trying to describe the sensation of.

Fralin steel pole pickups are fantastic, if you like a P90 style pickup in a regular tele or strat format

Dude... I don't know you but I've listened to your music a lot of my life. Not obsessively. But just enough so that it's always really special and real. And you remind me of one of my best friends.
