I saw that article as well. I would say get rid of both Allen and Payne but try to trade Payne post June 1st cap.

We have the cap space, but we have so many fewer players rostered. Thanks Rivera… lattimore is a very fair price as long as his hammy heals up. If we can move on from Allen or Payne we must do so. As you noted, Allen can be cut, but Payne’s overpaid ass is likely here for another year.

I'd keep both . These guys are not the problem . The DE's are constantly giving up the edge , Wagners speed and lack of a 3rd and not hybrid LB are problematic , we need a starting corner and a SS that can cover .

Trade both of them. And if you don't get the deal you need, then cut them. My guess is.. they might get something for one. Probably Payne. Younger and not coming off injury. I like them both. But do we want to win? Or not? Yep. Get that Cap Space back. Go younger. And heck - they aren't giving us much. Nothing NEAR what we pay them. Put some money on the edges. Get solid players for the middle - & not over-rated guys making too much money. Both guys will flourish on Teams that are perceived to be close.

Chavarious Ward in the offseason to pair him with marshon and lattimore. Trade Payne for draft compensation that you will use to trade for Chris Olave, then trade you 1st round and a couple other picks for either Maxx Crossby or Myles Garrett.

Would love to bring back Dyami Brown and Olamide Zacchaeus. I don't think either would be that expensive. I've been saying for a couple years that we need to move on from Jon Allen and possibly DaRon Payne. For what we were paying them, the production wasn't there most years. Our run defense was awful once again.

I hope we don't break the bank to keep Fowler. If we can get him for a reasonable price, $6-8 million/year I'd be okay with keeping him. I think he only got $3.3 million this year.

Exactly. Lattimore came in for the future. If people would look at the games he did play and people were spouting off about , where was he? He was doing his job. People don't realize that if you didn't see him that means he was doing hos job covering and preventing another QB from targeting that side.

Joe Whitt would be packing his bags if it were up to me. 30th ranked run defense is grounds for termination in my book, no matter the personnel. I wish he'd kick rocks and some of these defensive players
