I have just bought a Nikon 5500 but people have told me I should have got a Canon as the Nikon are no good for video. Gratifying to see you've shot a lot of this film with that camera.

I love the Nikon crisp colors and the picture quality is just amazing . My friend has a Sony and i just cant get my self to like the colors. and the same for canon . if only Nikon had the tracking of Sony it would've been so epic. the next camera im aiming at is the Panasonic GH5 , amazing tracking build in stabilizing and 1080p 180fps and the colors is the closes to Nikon. Nikon d5500 is probably not the best filming camera but if put some effort it can deliver some beautiful footage. Thats why i made this film to show my Sony friend that it can be done.

Pedro Wessels I wish the d5500 had 180fps, 120 would be good too. I used the camera for the first time today it wasn’t very successful, I found the focus a bit difficult to maintain. Guess it’s just a case of getting used to it. Having fun with it though

YES 50MM will be perfect . I used a 105mm.

Thank you so much. It took about 2 months to get all the shots. And about 2 weeks of editing. But that was back then. Now I'm able to work faster.

Great tutorial. Can I ask if D5500 has an AC power charger for it? Which one would you recommend? My battery can't do long video recording. Thanks.

Yes it does. I have not have had problems with the battery. Recoding does make time difference Mostly because of the lcd screen. My solution was to purchase extra 3 batteries and since then I've never had any problems.
