Thanks you for sharing your story. Its such a crazy, emotional and physical journey. Im so rooting for you ! .Here is my IVF = 3 IVF retrievals, countless hysteroscopies & 2 laproscopies to resect a septate uterus., 2 failed IVF transfers, 1st transfer and pregnancy that lasted only 25wks+3days due to incompetent cervix. 81 day NICU stay and a baby who came back home healthy :). 2nd transfer 22 months later, preventive cerclage at 11weeks and made it all the way to my scheduled C-section . Two perfect babies with me today and I couldn't ask for more

It's so great that you're sharing your IVF journey so candidly. I'm 37 and in the process of freezing my embryos to extend my fertility for just another few years while I figure out my life. I just finished my master's in nursing so I have no idea where I'm going to be! Seeing your perspective as someone in the healthcare field was very informative to me regarding the issues with miscommunication and other issues. I finally had my first consultation with the doctor, who is very nice, but the reviews on the office are... let's just say it makes me nervous. But the other clinics are also similar or worse reviews so I really hope for the best for my journey. Fingers crossed! I really wish and hope for the best for you! Thank you so much for being so open to your viewers and allowing us to follow your journey! Good luck to you!

I recognized those raw emotions when you read your blast report ♥️ Such an emotion filled moment--I laugh-cried hard on the phone with the embryologist. We are still trying to figure out next steps, but hoping to transfer sometime this year. Sending you allllll the good vibes!

@@pedsdoctalk I’m 40.5 years. Going through IVF…. Started, April 2022 anxiety took over. I’m an analyst for the Federal Government in DC. My career is in full swing, was literally working 6days a week. I didn’t have the luxury of taking off time for 2 weeks while doing IVF. I had to deal with my career, sometimes leaving the clinic after drawing blood everyday, doing ultrasounds then heading right into the office daily. Those calls you anxiously await would come right before or after a meeting or briefing and I had to deal with it all. My mom and sisters and 2doctor cousins of mine knew I was going through the process but not too many others, just in case, we didn’t want to have to share bad news with too many people. IVF IS A JOURNEY. YOU ARE A HERO. WE ALL ARE HEROS! I thought I would have gotten enough eggs to freeze for a second round. We have no kids. Through out the process we were told we have a good number. They were able to retrieve 6 … which I’m not going to lie, I heard higher numbers from others and was disappointed. Out of those 6, 2 fertilized normally. #truthmoment… my heart sank :(. They said they would implant both because of my age and to give me the best chance possible. One was AA and the other BA. I think 💭 My clinic is very conservative and initially said they don’t usually implant multiples for health reasons… so when they said they were implanting both, I felt like…. Sigh 😔. I guess it must be bad. Then I found myself wishing for these twin babies .. I wanted the implantation of both at this point because I knew I had no eggs left and a second round would mean the entire retrieval process again. I did get a positive blood test a week late and my first ultra sound revealed one amazing jelly bean. 😊 It’s hard not to want more, or better results, especially when listening to other stories about persons with 7, 9 or 10 successful fertilizations :(. BUT YES … YOU ONLY NEED ONE! And your one Jelly bean is viable and healthy and just continue to take things one step at a time. God knows the desires of your heart and he knows the plans he has for you and they are plans of joy and he will grants those desires 🙏🏽. I’m barely out of my first trimester so I’m beginning to relax a bit more. But throughout this journey, I’ve been full of emotions not all good, but healthy emotions and natural for the circumstances. Take always: ITS OK TO NOT BE OK. HAVE A MOMENT, CRY, FEEL SORRY FOR YOURSELF, FEEL MAD, BUT IT CAN ONLY LAST FOR A ‘MOMENT’ because with IVF you need strength to fight another day. The hardest part physically for the IVF process is behind us! Now for the implantation and waiting! This is where you don’t overthink, stay busy and focus, no what ifs! After the implantation just wait for the blood test …. Longest 5 days ever. And 🙏🏽,always 🙏🏽. I’ve watched tons of KZbin channel during my journey. You are so genuine and authentic. It all ended when I found your channel! Thank You. Sending lots of baby dust ✨✨✨✨Good Zen 💫💫💫 and positive vibes 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽 to you and everyone going through the journey or helping someone through. YOU GOT THIS!!!

Hi! I'm so happy for your pregnancy. Thank you for walking us through your journey. It is very helpful for us. I have a question if you don't mind answering: how do you decide to do ICSI vs traditional IVF? Our lab didn't really give us an option and apparently do ICSI for everyone. Just was curious if this is the norm...thanks!

Hi, I’m currently on my 1st IVF journey & just wondering about this elevated NK cells & how it affected your timing to do embryo transfer. Is this test a normal protocol that your fertility doctor recommended to you? My fertility doctor didn’t mention anything about this & wonder if this something that I need to brought to his attention. Thank you & hope everything going well with your embryo transfer 🙏🏻
