As an arsenal fan, ive had my eye on this kid since he was on loan two seasons ago at Sunderland and saw a few games including the fa cup game against liverpool where he scored the winner. I knew then that this kid just needed a large run of games to show what he could do, having watched him this season (the last 2 months ) and seeing his the level of output G/A , I truly believe this kid could get to the level of saka or higher. At his current trajectory I think everything we are seeing in terms of technical ability , determination and now discovered high stamina has been there since united bought him maybe just slightly honed and hasn't been coached into him. You just have to imagine if this boy was coached properly under ETH he would have been a level or two higher than he is now, with more goals and assists to his name. His final third decision making/footballing IQ is elite, is that of a much older player and hes very mature on and off the pitch . He is truly Naturally gifted talent like Greenwood when he first came on the scene, I still think Greenwood is you lots most naturally gifted and technical player in decades from the academy. If united can get 2 or 3 players with his mentality and technical ability they should thrive.

In Ruben Amorim's system, the "wing backs" actually play further up the pitch in possession, they're basically wingers. Just look at the Southampton match, Amad scored a hattrick as a wing back. You can't find many players in the market that can fit Amorim's wingback role. The fact that we got Amad is a blessing because he plays that role to perfection. IMO, playing amad as a wing back is better for the team as we could easily find a new number 10 in the summer e.g. Bryan Mbeumo.

One thing before the long comment : I recently discovered your channel and I'm glad I have, it's always interesting ! Maybe not as a starter in the XI but at least on the bench. He's the only bright spot for them this year, he's gained them many points this season already. Replace him with Antony and United is litterally fighting a relegation battle, it's a disaster. One thing I can't understand is why all the players almost without exception become worse when they join Manchester United, and that for the last 10 years. Same goes for the managers btw... Great players and wonderkids come and their talent seems to vanish, it's crazy. That's the real problem at Man U, not the spending, not the managers, not the players having a bad mentality (although some so have mentality problems). The problem is that Man U seems to be depressing, the stadium is old and leaks, people don't enjoy working here (and INEOS cutting wages and firing people will make things worse), it's a downward spiral and things go from bad to worse. A few years ago, Man U finished 2nd in the league (profiting from problems at Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea yes but still) and fans thought things weren't good, now 2nd seems like a distant dream. It's like something's broken at the club. Rangnick was right when he said tweaks wouldn't help and the club needs heart surgery. There is something deep to fix here. Diallo is a rare bright star in a gloomy environment.

I don't know if he is a racist - I doubt it seeing we do have many Black players but there is an argument he is a SMALL-IST. He seemed to have had a preference for tall, big and burly players as opposed to smaller players which is a horrifyingly blinkered perspective for a manager. Some of the best players ever were on the small side. He also is very partial to Dutch or Scandinavian players as most of them are on the larger side.

Debatable that he's best played in the front 3, of course he's great there but United have performed better overall when he's wingback. That's because he gets more touches of the ball in that position and can single handedly carry the ball huge distances whilst being pressed, just ghosting through opponents. That's hugely valuable to Amorim's style, and he's still scoring goals even when played there.
