He never demanded. He never insulted anyone. He just made his petition quietly and consistently. if i had to guess the Pinocchio either got banned for one of two reasons, either because it looks like a kid and a cage, or the bendy toy was made excessively cheap as i recall from when i was a kid those things were prone to splitting and you would have a wire poking out of them you could injure yourself on.

Fun fact, Dragon's name isn't Elizabeth. When Donkey exclaims "I'm coming Elizabeth!" while passing out from the Love Potion in Shrek 2, people automatically thought he was talking about Dragon. However, he was actually making a reference to an old tv show called "Sanford and Son" where the character Sanford had a deceased wife (named Elizabeth) and everytime he would pretend to die, he would call out "I'm coming Elizabeth!". She was actually part of one of the show's most famous catchphrases. Dragon's name is officially Dragon. :)

I feel like the Pinocchio toy was most likely banned due to the fact that it was one of those bendy kind of action figures with a metal wire inside of the rubber limbs. Some kid probably broke it and was injured by the metal wire or something

I think another reason Pinnochio was banned is also the wires in his body. Bendy toys tend to be cheaply made and as a result the wore very easily cuts through the plastic and pops out.

According to FastFoodToyReviews, the reason why the Pinocchio toy was recalled was because when you bend the figure up and forced it to fit inside the paddy-wagon, the soft rubbery plastic would crack and the metal wires would end up popping out and cause physical harm to people. It would be pulled from the set and thats how we then ended up with nine toys instead of ten.

Oh my god, you unlocked a memory. Parents take you to the theater, you go to get fast food after, you get a toy from the movie you just saw. Happened so many times, I specifically remember it happening with Monsters Inc. My parents for sure had the knowledge to orchestrate it. Reminds me of seeing Spiderman 2 and immediately going to Wal-Mart to look at Spiderman toys. Those movies are ruthless on a kid's spending habits.
