I've followed Matt's (Dinosaur Dracula's) content since the late 2000s, so to see Peebs make use of his extensive spooky commercial collection was a really fun surprise. (He ALSO has a sizeable number of old CHRISTMAS commercials in case you're looking for video ideas for December, Peebs. I know I'D be into it. 😉) Also, I am 100% on board for a future Halloween fast food toys vid on the various Simpsons Treehouse of Horror promotions from Burger King. It'd be really fun to see a festive spin on those videos.

I mean, look at the original T-800 endoskeleton done with stop motion. It wouldn't be as intimidating if the movements were entirely smooth.

OMG, I had the Creepy Crawlers toy when I was a kid! It was really fun to do once or twice, but required lots of time and cleaning up on my parents end whenever we brought it out. I remember the bugs tasting okay, but I (as a child) would also eat packets of butter, table salt, or raw pasta with no problem- so take that as you will. Anyways, totally forgot about all this until now; Thank you for the reminder Peeb!

I feel like a lot of people have nostalgic feelings towards Goosebumps books, but all I remember about reading them is being disappointed. Like, R.L. Stine is really bad at establishing a creepy mood and most of the stories feel low-stakes like you can be pretty sure that nobody is going to die most of the time. I know they're kid's books, but I remember being a kid, reading The Werewolf of Fever Swamp and being like "Yeah, a deer got killed, but NORMAL WOLVES will do that! This is not scary!"

I love 80's ads. They're so nostalgic since I was a kid back then. Yeah it was weird but that hotline for telling scary stories was actually a thing. It was a rip off same as those psychics. Never called either one when I was a teenager. The Garfield Halloween special is so good. I loved that as a kid and I still love it now. I'm glad it's on KZbin. The only spooky thing in that special is the old man. The Goosebumps books were so good. Back in 1990 I read many of them when I was ten. It's too bad your parents didn't let you read those books. Kids are still reading them even now. The boy I was babysitting last summer checked out the Goosebumps books when we went to the library. Happy Halloween Peebs. Thanks for the video.
