When moving forward try just dropping like entering a crouch and DEFINITELY practice crouch walking especially with ankle weights

I used this style in my last amateur fight and you helped my coach explain the peek a boo style to me so well. Thank you sir from now on my coach just gets me to watch and study your work!!

In my school of koryu martial arts we call this footwork Kaze no kamae. "wind movements" and one of the first movements you learn along with water movements or mizu no kamae. there is so much more to it than what you are showing, but very glad to see that its starting to get tracktion amongst fighters.
@dr.dylansgame55832 жыл бұрын
funnily enough boxers also started taking the pivot step or stepping method from many other martial arts into boxing cause it so useful to be able to circle your opponent. And even better unless they're highly advanced themselves they won't be able to easily figure out how you do it. It's almost as if you disappear from their vision entirely.

In the Mike Tyson vs. Clifford Etienne match,is a good example how Mike Tyson showed D'amato's footwork with a knockout, making a strong surprise for Etienne It was an extremely spectacular footwork and a KO at the same time 👍

Damat was a genius because i believe he chose this style because of Mikes build. Had Mike been a lengthy 6"3 240 I doubt Damato would have chosen peek-a-boo. This is a GREAT style for a shorter fighter with shorter reach.

It only works in the corners or ropes. Boxers usually too quick to move and very hard to catch them with that type of approach. It works better in heavyweight where big boys are not that quick.
@peekaboojujitsoo5252 жыл бұрын
Peekaboo stance or a more squared up stance has the advantage of superior lateral ability. So you can close the distance but it must be done using angles and aggression.

if Tyson and you didn't explain, they would be far behind, even so... I only recognize Tyson and you in this movement... maybe you don't know about me because I don't teach... but 3- we are now Vilagon Tyson, you and I, who will bring this to a dangerous end!!!!

Bro how can u slip like that? Its hard enough for me to bend that much but bring up your body up its more harder
@MajinnBu1232 жыл бұрын
Condition you’re body too toughen with slipping & counter drills, and be sure you’re bending enough too avoid getting hit and not over bending,you can find the drills throughout Logan’s Channel, I stopped training perhaps for the best, cause this Technique & style feels maturing, not saying I’m the BEST, I’m a bit of a neat freak only a bit

You show everything! Why are you helping people... isn't it good for you and me to push them like this?! Why are you increasing your knowledge?! Looking at your views, it's not enough to make a living from this... we've only noticed that since you've been teaching, there are more and more test takers... but if you didn't talk, they would never have figured out certain steps, technical tricks on their own... why? ?? it's not good when every corner, every person hits like that...!!! You worked for it, I also worked for it, be lucky, don't teach! It's not worth it... just teach them a quarter of it, they wouldn't even see it, that's enough for them... you teach them too much... mistake... if there were only two of us, we could be more unique... so Tyson will be around every corner come face to face with us and we will become average!!! Don't wait! No one is paying us for this!!!
