I am so glad I found your site, you are so inspiring to me. I can't wait to do you technique for the wood grain. I'm going to order your ink's you use, they seem to go on nicer than the one's I have. Thank you so much for sharing and teaching me.

I came to the same conclusion about the baby wipes. I was getting really frustrated until I figured it out. I’m having trouble with doing a thin layer of epoxy over decals, I seem to get tons of bubbles even when I torch. This is a major learning experience. Love your tutorials.

Pampers brand don’t seem to give me issues, the epoxy, it’s just trial and error and lots of practice then trying to repeat when you get it right

How do you keep 13 cups from getting dust or air particles on them ?

Lucy VanStone I have 20 turners total. I just try to keep the workspace clean and I have all vents closed and taped so no moving air. It happens on occasion but for the most part I rarely have to sand and recoat

Hi Jessica, I'm a bit confused. You are use alcohol to dilute your ink. I watched another one of your woodgrain videos and you said to never use alcohol with India Inks because it makes the ink clump up. Have they changed the formula for the India Ink?

Becky Freeman the first batch of the ink I got was a set and alcohol made it clump up, but the larger bottles I’ve ordered individually seem to work fine with it. I’m not sure the difference in the two as they say India inks and are made by same company

What kind of spray paint did you use? Do you spray 1 or 2 coats for good coverage?

Thanks for the tutorial. You are really scaring me with the x-acto knife and your hand so close, my friend slipped and almost cut her finger off. Please be careful. Also do you not wear any type of mask with all those epoxy cups turning at the same time?
@JCCreativeStudio4 жыл бұрын
Not saying it can't happen, but I have a pretty steady hand. I've been cutting by hand with an exacto about 20 years, I rarely use scissors for anything, am way more comfortable with a blade. As far as a mask, I never wear one while recording, I do have an RZ Mask, but more importantly I have good ventilation and air circulation setup where I work. I do use an epoxy that is VOC free as well.
