The ome thing I noticed myself when trying this style was that standing squared I could only move left to right. But with step foot by foot foreward I also could move to the front leg like in the classic style. A very good detail to keep in mind.

That spring step is good but be careful with it. Throw jabs while springing. Also, springing to the other side from slightly southpaw position would be better

Appreciate the video. Question, I'm having a challenge throwing from my hips and legs instead I keep depending on arms and shoulders. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Spring step after slip takes you straight into the lane of subsequent collisions punch. After cross you slipping towards the left hook making the hook even more deadly, same after slipping jab. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Thank you so much! A lot of times you will have to step into your slip jab especially if you’re boxing a taller opponent. If you can keep your legs under you it will always generate more power so that’s ideal.

I will make you my nr 1 boxing coach!😊 I do have one specific question: how do you value the peekaboo-style in relation/combination with kick/thai-boxing (which I am practicing as well).? Does the changing of balance from one leg to another constantly make it more difficult to throw in leg kicks (and how to solve if so), and does the dropping down stance make you vulnerable for knee strikes? Same for shifting your body: vulnerable for knee attacks? I would be very interested in your thoughts on that one. Since I am also practicing a bit mma, wrestling and bjj, and I am mostly shorter and lighter then my opponents, I am specifically interested in this peekaboo style for its evation of the jabs, closing the distance, so I could eventually try to take my opponent down to the ground (if necessary), since on the ground they lose most of their height- and weight advantages.
