I remember going to my local police station to hand in a phone I found at the park, they left me waiting In the lobby for nearly 40 mins before and officer came out with a sign in book, assuming I was on bail. When I expressed that I was unhappy I was left waiting and my wife and children were in the car, he became extremely hostile toward me. The level of ego and assumed authority is absolutely disgusting. They get off on making people wait on them, it’s absurd

you have to have a really juicy crime to report or they won't have time to deal with anything minor like burglary, assault, that kind of thing, a real emergency is reporting someone with a video camera, then you'll get at least 8 cops within minutes. that's just the way it is.

@pjdsa There are laws in place to prevent taking of pictures in public toilets and court rooms, there are no laws in place to prevent the taking of pictures from everyday run of the mill public places. code 41 of the Criminal Justice Act and the Contempt of Court Act. In 2004 prevent you from taking pictures in courts and Section 68 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003 prevents you taking pictures in public toilets. Please tell me what act or law prevents you from taking pictures in a public foyer ?

This camera has an eye, and a brain with memory behind it. Every human being has the same. The difference is, my memory cannot be replayed to a judge in proceedings against you for a breach of data protection when I find one (which I'm sure I will because you just told me so verbally and with signage). This is entirely why I have been told not to carry out the act of recording our conversation or lack thereof. There is no data protection breach from me recording, in fact, the breach comes from making it available to be recorded or remembered. There is nothing stopping me from looking at said protected information and memorising it for later use. Therefore, you have essentially confessed to the criminal offence of providing private or protected information to third party potentially by making it available to be seen and memorised. Of course, criminals never appreciate witnesses or CCTV footage, and have been known to go as far as murder in order to remove such evidence, therefore it is no surprise to me that illegal signage has appeared in your foyer in an attempt to remove my civilian rights to gather evidence of an offence by yourselves. You should be aware that the public judges more harshly than Judges, and as this footage is in the best interest of the public, I doubt you would have any legal recourse to have this footage removed from KZbin. Therefore, you are publicly confessing your offence with your documented signage and allowing yourself to face the harshest Judge. Congratulations! (when are these receptionists going to get the customer service and sensitivity training they so desperately need? Note to bigwigs... they really are making it harder for the good guys, so it's time to fight back and lead by example
