A friend of mine - after I debated that police were surely professional smart people - told me to watch your videos and see how many of your videos I needed to watch before I would realise that Police are stupid, unprofessional and inept.. I concede it took me 3 of your videos, and now I watch them for shear fun and entertainment.. You are indeed doing an amazing civic duty by challenging these muppets in your own unique manner..

HA HA HA. It took them 2 days to respond to a call from 85 year old mother, when someone shattered the frame and windows in her kitchen and broke into the house. Then a further 7 days for someone to call to see if there was any evidence, by which time the evidence had been destroyed by the weather. Thank you Surrey Police for your instant response!

Hi Focus Pocus. I've been watching your video's and just want to point out to other photographers on here who do "audits" that you are an example to follow of how to speak to officers, security staff even the military. You always speak calmly and respectfully whilst refusing to be intimidated. You don't belittle them by name calling or use bad language. A few other KZbinrs should learn from this instead of just wanting to antagonize and cause problems by being disrespectful to people.

Focus pocus,s calm polite approach when being quizzed by ignorant cops is his best weapon as its like a safety barrier where you refuse to be irked and start swearing or aggressive which is all on film as I've seen many small minded cops try to escalate then can make an arrest but focus nullifies that.

Good video. Especially the final statement. 😂😂😂 On a serious note, well done for not giving out your name and details. You politely explained that you were there recreationally. From that point, you should really have been left alone. For anyone who doesn't know, there are only two scenarios in which you are obliged to give your name to a cop. 1. If you're stopped while operating a motor vehicle on the highway. (Not a push bike) 2. If the officer tells you the crime that you're under suspicion of. (At this point I would also ask for the specific crime number) In all other situations you are within your rights to decline to answer. Always be polite, nobody likes a gobby shite.!

I remember the programme well, from the first 2 bars of the music, “Z cars” back in the days when the police were reasonably respectful and professional. Only asked pertinent questions and only made you “fall down the stairs” if you got taken to the plod shop and either got mouthy or committed a crime against hyenas. Back in the days when the IRA were active and a camera wasn’t a lethal weapon that put the fear of shite up anybody in a uniform!

What is the purpose of your photography? That seems to be a popular question. To create images for my own pleasure, seems to be the fairly obvious answer to me.

Here's an idea to stop this sort of stuff from happening. 1. national training curriculum for security guards, in which the rights of the public are clearly explained. 2. security guards who study this curriculum and call the police because someone is taking photographs, are immediately arrested and charged with wasting police time. 3. Police officers who respond favourably to such calls from security guards, are systematically charged with misconduct in public office. I guarantee you: this idiotic harassment of everyone with a f*****g camera would soon be a thing of the past.
