I think that an anime about time personified would be really interesting where he watches people pass by, large events happen only for him to walk by with no care in his eyes. He just looks upon in sorrow and despair as humanity grows closer to their demise, He watches it go by. Humanity ends. He looks and looks for more life to find but the chances were to slim so he ended in failure. He waits and waits uncaring as always for the universe to end over and over until it starts once again with life. But its odd this time, its different. they can see him walk along by, they see his shock and his confusion. He says "hello their", "why's your head shaped like a clock" the life ask's. "Why is it yours is not?" He replied calmly. "what's your name" The odd life mumbles, "good question" He says with his white gloved hand stroking his chin "why don't we call me time?", The odd life announces "ok, we call ourselves humans, why exactly are you called time?". "because that's what passes over and over since the beginning, that's were I started, long before the concept of time was made, long before life even existed." Time said simply while leaning on his cane. Time laughs "intelligent life always names themselves humans no matter what, And always refer to me as Time. its strange isn't it that no matter how many times the universe collapses and reforms it always ends the same way? your the first ones to see me though". the humans scoff "if we were the first to see you then why did they call you time?", "because" Time yells annoyed "I'm always there I watch as you grow as you fall, and every step you take for better or for worse. I've seen Humans kill each other, threaten each other, kill their planet, abandon their planet countless times, I have seen every possible outcome through the times the universe repeated." Time sighs and calms down and continues stating " And yet I do not care, for why should I when I am forced to pass without being able to stop, as you stand there you have grown 3 years older now nearly 4. I cannot stop what continues infinitely, I am stuck alone for as long as I have lived, with out being able to get free of this endless cycle."... you can continue the story but I am not very good at story writing, I just got a sudden burst of motivation and thoughts to put down. I would love to see a manga or anime or novel even of something like this, it would be so good and original if it was done right.
