This so accurate and I really want to cry because Peeta loved her the whole time and she couldn't see that she really loved for such along time and Peeta waited for her. I read the series two years ago and I loved it so much that it got me into reading and now I read like a book a week. The Hunger Games trilogy will forever be in my heart as one of my favorite book series in the world.

If you analyze it further, Peeta didn’t love her the entire time. He was infatuated with her. He fell in love throughout the entire series. While Katniss fell in love within the first book, but didn’t realize it until much later.

It’s so beautiful he loved her from the start. He waited for her for so long, knowing that she couldn’t see that she was slowly falling in love with him. It wasn’t until Peeta got taken and her worst fear came true that she saw just how much he actually meant to her and how she didn’t…couldn’t live or fight without him.

It's been more than 10 years since I read The Hunger Games trilogy and honestly I never got over it. The way they finally got to truly be together and free is so heart breaking and beautiful at the same time. Peeta essentially loving her his whole life and Katniss only realising she loves him when it was too late, when he was "gone" and taken. It's a cliche but it effin works. War and death turned these two head strong teens into broken adults but somehow they found a way to heal and start over with each other. Together, atlast. I love The Hunger Games and the complexity and development of all its characters and plot.

I read the hunger games series a couple months ago... I cried when I finessed it. Not just because the ending was so so bittersweet... but because I would miss the fun of being able to sit down on the coutch or bed and read for hours. Peeta was my favrote character and I cried while reading about his torture. He did not deserve what he went through...
