Short note to 13:00: You don't really need to cast a nature dmg and fire dmg after icefury procc. Flameshock counts as vulcanic dmg. So it's nature and fire (i guess) combined. Hence you can just put LMT after icefury and get the elemental blast out of it. Same for prim wave which is elemental dmg (all three sources combined)

I track my procs and buffs, and I do not get the effect just flameshocking. I also don’t get it from pwave. The echo buff, yes, but not just flame shocking.

I just went to ele from ret for mythics because my friend wants to stay ret. IDK, i just use the smooth brain build and still do damage but sure what you guys are talking about. Yeah it got tuned but you guys gotta be playing bad in mythic if you don't understand the utility shammy brings.

Thank you, Petko. This made things so much clearer to me. I main Pres Evoker, but started dipping my toes into ele/resto shaman this week. I'm still confused about a minor thing with our rotation in both ST and AoE: Since we're running Master of the Elements, are you supposed to weave in Lava Burst casts in between Chain Lightning/Lightning Bolt/Tempest casts? Do you only use LB with Lava Surge procs or are you supposed to hard cast it ever as part of your rotation? What about during your Ascendance windows? Do you press LB at all during Ascendance for the MotE buff? Thank you so much in advance.

Hello, do you use your earthquake on the target or on the cursor? I feel like cursor lets me use earthquake more precisely if for example tank is moving boss a little bit but on target would probably simplify using earthquake, especially on bigger pulls when sometimes its hard to spot my own cursor 😅 Anyway thanks for the video and new build!

Petko, what settings do you use when simming yourself for M+? I know Dungeon Slice doesn't work particularly well for us but no matter what combination of sim outputs I use it seems my sims are really overvaluing haste&crit still; similar ilvl to you with both builds but it says I should be dropping Mastery.

For m+ it would be patchwerk, 5 bosses, 1 minute.

@@bubbasernie5762 1 minute is kind of biased. It is usually a good practice to base your sim on what minute class you are. Since we are now a 3 minute class, 5 targets 3 minutes based around ascendance CD. Otherwise your basing everything on best output for a third of the time. (not to mention trinkets can make this worse on 1 min as well)

Earthquake on your talent tree has two options - one is to place on the ground, and one is to place on target. You take the left one, see the tooltip says "This spell is cast at your target", and the right one says "this spell is cast at a selected location", you don't want this one.

Wait what? you don`t need a WA for fusion of the elements. You will always cast a bunch of nature spell all the time in every situation. Like what else are you going to cast? So you`ll just do your normal rotation and the LB procs or flameshock will trigger the blast. you don`t need a WA for every single thing.

Elemental Equilibrium's is ONLY 10% increase for 10 seconds every 30 seconds That's roughly 25% of a 2 minute fight you have a the extra 10%. Why wouldn't you go with a more sustained increase. Just curious.

Lmt don’t provide haste. It just spread flame shock. If you are going to ascendence you don’t need lmt

@@SuperJarlos Not when you have ascendance. You cast Pwave first, then ascendance which puts flameshock on 6 targets, then cast your instant cast Lava Burst and it consumes your Pwave buff and grants you the haste. You DO cast LMT to start pull if you don’t have ascendance up for the pull.

Before the changes we didn't run LMT for the most part, but Recall was used. I thought it could be for Bulwark, but Bulwark even if you get the Totemic Surge and make it under 3m is still not affected by Recall.

You literally cannot take any ele shaman to higher keys anymore. 95%+ are doing complete garbage damage in ST. Really don't understand it, but it's rip for almost every key because of that. Blasting 15 Mill aoe dps every 3 min really does not help. Also because of all those echoes builds, a lot of elemental shamans, are not even doing good aoe damage. This spec for me has become absolute favourite but damn, for my alts, i stopped inviting shamans, except healer.
