Just seeing all those great diecast cars, trucks, or other models like helicopters boats, tractors, brings back a lot of memories, when you could get these awesome diecast models cheap, toys like these are being tossed aside in favor of video games, toys like matchbox, corgi, Dinky, Siku, Hot wheels, Burago Maisto, bring a lot of good memories, especially when they would put out a catalog showing the new models about to be released, you could spend hours & hours of fun.

These diecast cars, trucks, construction equipment, helicopters, would bring me so much fun, instead of buying candy, I would save my money to buy the latest diecast toy they had, I remember some of them, the doors , hood would open up, some even had little figures driving or a dog in the back, not counting the hot wheels, I had 3 carrying cases full of these diecast toys, which I miss till this day, I would make different scenarios , like building a road, the car going to the mechanic the wrecker pulling a stranded car, the station wagon

21:55 I saw it, I loved it, I bought it on eBay straight away...🌸🌼🌺🌻 They make two versions of it, I liked the one I saw here, what a beautiful decorative object that'll be. If that VW doesn't brighten up the top of my PC tower then nothing will. If it wasn't for this video I would never have known about it. So that's 3 times you've "popped" a good die-cast into my vision-dimension Diecast Dude. The Citroen Type HY from your other video is still my tops though! 💯💨😎💨👍

Siku reminds me of Matchbox when I was a kid - before Superfast. The emphasis was on play and creating imaginary scenes populated by private cars, trucks, tractors, caravans, vans, emergency vehicles etc. Then a make believe scene would emerge all the bits...

In the UK we have just the one store, and it's a bookstore (Waterstones) that sell Siku, nowhere else does and they only have the rotating stand of singles, so seeing all the other stuff they produce is awesome! The best of Siku are the tractors trucks and construction machines, in my opinion 🙂 Yeah I was so happy but there is another explorer I want even more. Its the one that is attacked by a T-Rex.

At [13:05] you showed the New Ray Sky Pilot model aircraft. Interestingly they have shown up on the shelves at one of our toy stores here and I was looking through their range. They had a really good selection of modern fighter aircraft (F117, F35, F14, F15, F16, F/A18, etc). I was very tempted to purchase a few, but they cost NZ$25 (about 15 euros) each, and since they are just made of plastic, I couldn't justify it. Awesome to see you found two of the variations of the Jurassic World vehicle you were seeking (that 5 pack is really nice eh). I think Toy Champ and Siku should watch your videos because you make excellent points ; )

I have the same thing with the plastic airplane. When it is a hybrid I can handle it but full plastic is to much. Yes I'm really happy with the jurassic vehicle. Now I'm looking for the one that is attacked by a T-Rex 😁

The reason the do 1:55 is because of the other scales from siku. It matches better than the smaller 1/64. But it would be so cool if they start a 1/64 line including tractors and construction machines
