Disorganized and why would you pour fluids from a bottle with the seal not completely removed ? I would worry if pieces of the cap would go in. Principles are solid, but technique is concerning.

why check the patency with stethoscope? it's not in the lungs

To make sure that you can hear the air going through peg tube if not it could mean a blockage.checking for patency before you pour the entire bottle of feeding and spill it all over pt..because it's a blockage; I hope that makes since..

Actually we just use stethoscope more often than using Ph strip for ph level coz that's too much work to do.
