It's the no-subscription fee's that I like as well. I just think when I do eventually get round to getting a second motorcycle, having a tracker fitted to both would be great but I'd hate the thought of paying like an additional £20 a month 12-month sim contract per bike. It adds up quickly over the year!

Very easy to install, but also very easy for a thief to remove (especially as they know what it looks like). The value of subscription trackers is someone else is monitoring your pride and joy… no worries about your phone being out of charge (or away from you, broken, or left on your bike,etc).

I don't think anything is theft proof, you can spend hundreds on locks and chains as well. I mostly like it more because I like to look at my rides and things after and see the miles I've done

Don't put a tracker under seat. First place they look. Top tip put it in headlight casing and wire into headlight wiring loom 👍

I just put a sticker on my bike saying it's fitted with a tracker. It isn't really but the thieves don't know that.

Shame this tech runs on 2G as it looks really good. The manafacturer website says its on Orange in the UK aka EE and their 2g network is shutting in 2025. 3G not long afterwards. Its causing concern for lots of IOT products.

no, it's box recognises when your bike is turned off and has a delay switch off ~ but also I have a relay fitted to my bike too

I have bike trac on both bikes and a monimoto on lesser value bike . The issue with Pegasse is the same as mon8moto Ltd to 2/3/4g and easily remove by bike thief The bike trac costs sheds lots & annual sub but is much harder for toes to find apparently

Loved the video review. You say it turns off when the engine is switched off so it doesn’t drain the battery. What if someone takes the bike and puts it in a van without switching the ignition on. Can the tracker still be switched on and located?

Theres a option to "lock" the bike whilst the machine is stationary, if someone touches your bike or moves it, the tracker wakes up and you get an instant alert on your mobile phone

Not a criticism about the review it’s good to have choices and Pegasse is new to me - as commented it doesn’t drain battery so leave on trickle charger or have battery only eg Monimoto easy install if u wish to look at rides there are smartphone software than can do that the Garmin records fastest speed oops The problem is tea leaves know about all of these alarms and strip the bike whilst in a stolen muffled vans It may be worth having several. Cheap. Trackers hidden on bike such as Apple air tag Monimoto pegasse bike track Make it hard lots of ground anchors cordless disc cutters take minutes but ring floodlight parking deters low life

I'll be sure to have a look at some other brands! This is my first time fitting a tracker! I don't think anything is really theft proof to be honest, I've seen people get bikes stolen with GPS tracker before, I think it's just crazy difficult to protect something that can be picked up and stolen! I'm always sure to use as much bike security as I can and never leave my bike unattended, I think that's the best way! - having said that, what really sold the Pegase GPS tracker for me was the ability ability track my mileage with me doing all my travel videos, usually I just estimate hour many miles I've done but irs nice to be able to see on my mobile phone the route and how long I was riding for!

I haven't tried it out yet, I didn't have a second phone - but I presume if you use you account to sign in - the data should be there - might be worth checking with the company before purchasing

wrap it up in some cooking foil and it stops working, sounds stupid, but some trackers disconect the power from the EFI resulting in the bike to stop, wrapping it cuts out the GPS signal so as well as being able to steal the bike the owner doesn't know anything about it, if you fit it under the seat next to the battery it is the first place a thief will look (contary to popular belief they are not stupid) under the tank is a good place of if there is enough room in the headlight casing, under the tail fin, anywhere but where shown here, if you do buy a GPS tracker best fit properly first time, all bike thieves pop the seat latch and check battery terminals for trackers and alarms (I'm talking proper bike thieves not kids wanting something to have a laugh on that night then wreck before dumping it in a hedge, if you own a Chinese scooter likes is young kids might nick it for kicks, if you own a Ducati Multistrada chances are a profesional bike thief will steal it to break and sell the parts on eBay, something like that is worth £5K-£8K in parts. . . Chinese scooter £300-£500 ! ! "

Doesnt it drain your battery when your bike is not running. I remembered I used to have an alarm fitted on my bike and I went on holiday for 2 weeks and when I came back and tried to start it; it was too late. If you face the same problem then try the trackers with their own mini cells.

I like you your cool. The install is poor for theft purposes although for tracking your rides for good roads etc it's sufficient. There are far too many wires on that battery too haha why not splice(with connectors so things can be removed and look more professional)?
