I've always been on Team Layton, literally one of my favorite frags of all time, but Pegasus has been on the rise with me. When i first smelled it i thought it smelled too much like Amouage Reflection in the opening so I never gave it much of a chance. But recently i started wearing it again and you know I'm beginning to really like it. Total side note, Herod is like 1b from the house with me along with Layton. PdM really make alot of great frags, cant go wrong you're right.

When I got my decants for both of these, I was gutted because they didn’t work for me. Layton has something harsh in it that doesn’t sit well on my skin. Not sure what it is exactly(maybe the lavender and geranium), but even two sprays makes it too cloying for me. Pegasus is aight but Herod so far is easily my go to.

I have both, and like them both, but I definitely reach for Layton much more than Pegasus. I actually reach for Armaf Craze more than Pegasus, since it's more spicy and masculine, even though I appreciate Pegasus more in an artistic kind of way. I admittedly like cardamom more than almond as far as smell goes, so I'm on team Layton.

Layton is the first (and only) full bottle I've purchased from PdM. They have a lot of other amazing fragrances, but Layton is the only one I consider a dumb reach... even if it's an expensive dumb reach.

I love Pegasus, smells quite unique to me. I love some of the notes in Layton but honestly the sweetness to me is really overbearing and ruins it for me, just my opinion though.

FIRST SECOUND IN Pegasus is a better monster since Layton fights with Hugo Boss Bottled EDP (quite the same like hpnotic poison) and MAN i sprayed it in the Morning and at 18:00 in the GYM i could still take it and it was still awsome in the gym; while they are both awsome i say Pegasus

I have both and have used them quite a bit. Layton for som reason doesn't sit too well on my skin and i get about 6 hours tops of performance but pegasus lasts literally 8 plus hours on me. In terms of smell Layton obviously gets the "oh you smell good" compliments but pegesus gets the "what are you wearing" type of compliments so i would say its up to you to decide i personally like Pegasus a bit more than Layton.

Imagine Scent It’s fantastic for the fall. It’s much spicier and it dries down with a really nice oriental blend. It starts off slightly like regular Layton but then it take a turn for something nice and sexy for the evening. It’s almost as if Layton is the daytime frag and Exclusif is the night version. I own Layton and Herod and I'm on my second sample of Pegasus, and I still can't decide on Pegasus. Pegasus smells good, different than anything I have, but like you said, it's almost too sweet and to me it is definitely unisex and I don't reach for it much for going out, but something about it keeps me spraying it (around the house), I just can't find it in me to buy a bottle. Maybe I'll just get Armaf craze (I have a sample of it too) , I'd say it's 95% the same and performs really well, especially for $25-ish...or maybe I'll just wait for Pegasus to hit the 120-130 range. Layton and that apple smell, hot damn I couldn't get enough of it lol, and Herod... You wanna smell like a man, go with Herod. Oajan to me smell like a $5 Christmas candle and I wasn't impressed with habdan either.

There isn't one other mens fragrence (other than clones) that smells like pegasus, literally one of the most unique fragrences that is available for men. Layton is the proverbial meat and potato's of perfumery, as in it smells like soo many other generic scents.

Louis-Philippe Noël decants are cheap AF on notino one tip doe don't sleep on this house check out Oajan, Herod, Godolphin, Pegasus, Darley and Kuhuyan all beautiful and bottle worthy. I'm an amouage lover but gotta say Parfums de Marly ties them for my fav house.

I ordered (samples) Percival, Pegasus, Habdan, Herod, Oajan, Delina, Layton, Layton exclusif, Carlisle... All these frangrances are OVERHYPED. Don't believe the hype. I have a big family and many friends, I had them smell these fragrances... None of these fragrances induced the reaction I had with dolce & gabbana The One or YSL la nuit de l'homme. These fragrances (parfum de marly) are way too gourmand and feminine. If u like to walk around smelling like a tiramisu or an applepie full of cinamon, these fragrances may be for u... Also, Herod smells exactly like rochas men but 6 times more expensive... Layton exclusif smells like the room of an old woman, full of incense. I even bought Delina cause Demi Rawling sold me a dream (fragrance for women), this fragrance can't compare to the Chanel N°5, J'adore de Dior, ... The only positive point I have to concede is that the performance is REALLY on point. Even after taking a shower, u can still smell the motherf******. If affiliate marketing didn't exist, I doubt these would have had that much hype... I'm disappointed but happy ath the same time cause not gonna have to spend my money on a +200 euros fragrances. Maybe it comes from the fact that it's a french luxurious brand. Here in France, nobody pays attention to this house...The world has a tendency to put every luxurious french brand on a pedestal.. That's where the hype stems from.... Don't invest your money in that sh*t...Don't be a fragrance snob, there is absolutely no difference between designer and niche except the performance but it's not worth 5-6 times the price...
