Front brakes depend on the pads you use... my 04 stops great, and I live in the country and I use every bit of that 200 tire.(like the brakes, tires make a difference, proper inflation) Loves the curves as much as it goes straight... it's the throttle control! Ride on!

Thanks for your comment - I appreciate hearing from owners who know this bike well. Your comment is in line with some of the others that voiced their opinions after this review was aired, so much so that it made me get another Warrior to see if it also had the same "issues" with the brakes. I made a part two review of this motorcycle with my second Warrior, so I urge you to watch it and let me know what you think. As much as I love this bike, I did find the brakes to be lacking on both, equally so. I have since purchased a one of a kind custom chopper with a 113 cabin inch twin engine, American Eagle frame with an SS motor and Baker transmission. That has been keeping me very happy, but I would never hesitate to pull the trigger on another warrior. I am also looking for the Raider, in the meantime - so please stay tuned for those upcoming reviews. Thanks for participating in the conversation and for being part of this channels great community. very first motorcycle I got was this and taught myself. It seriously SERIOUSLY is a badass first option for those who don't mind a big bike. Brakes are serious and the sound with aftermarket is amazing so you are heard. and the presence is perfect so people are aware at intersections. So definitely don't follow this advice on it not being good for beginners. The only thing is if you drop it. it will be a biiii to get up. BUT just don't drop it.

The rear locking up is on the rider. You dont slam the rear on any bike. You can slam the front but need to understand how rear brakes work on bikes. Especially during braking. When you stop on a bike the weight transfers to the front which pulls weight off the rear which make it lighter. So if you slam on both. Your going to literally lift the weight off the rear and not allow it to grip like it should and cause fish tailing or sliding since there is no weight on it. Its not the bikes fault when it comes to rear braking... its the riders lack of skill.

I dont think the power off the rear as any coronation with the front brake power. If you cannot control the brake, it is decent on the Warrior it is just because you are not a rider, experience. The front that is more than satisfying for a cruiser but certainly weak for a sport bike.It is a cruiser from the 2000 still capable today compare to other cruisers.

Thanks for the message. This bike here was purchased/and sold for less than 5k. I've seen them left and right for around that mark. I personally wouldn't pay more than that seeing their availability. Southern California is perhaps one of the richest markets for bikes so availability is ample. The Harley in the video was bough/and sold under 5k as well. Thanks for chiming in.

Price is right, I’ve seen many warriors here in California ranging from 5-7k!

Got lucky and picked up an 03 in pristine condition with 9500 miles. It's possible but rare

Nice ride. Sorry for your loss. My question goes to perceived value. I saw a few comments but couldn't read through everything.. sorry. Personally, im coming off a 2014 Hayabussa so I get the idea of heavy bike and stopping power. This red lights come up fast...lol. But i decided to change gears and sit on a cruiser. I have my eyes and a chance to get an '07 warrior...3800 miles. Well maintained... but I'm not willing to go 7000.... the mileage and some aftermarket seems to warrant a bit more than 5000. I'm thinking 5500 to 5800 but I think the seller won't go under 6. Any thoughts?

Roadstar Warrior the top of the food chain in power cruisers? Lololol, Try a Triumph Rocket especially the 2020 versions. They make the roadstars look like a kids Big Wheel.

No doubt you are correct - I do mention it as a contender, but I was discussing big V-twin cruisers under 5k - the rocket doesn't fit that group, although I did go to the release of the new one and it's a very attractive machine, albeit the engine looks like a locomotive - I personally find the V-twins more attractive. Thanks for chiming in. Greetings from San Diego.

Pegasus Motorcycle Tours & Consulting How pretty a motor looks, to me is silly and specious, but thats just me. However the title of your video is “Best Cruiser Motorcycle” not best under a given price, or best with a pretty motor. You chose that title, not me. Greetings from the Arizona desert.

That’s a complete different bike on its own category..oh wait! It can’t dethrone the 2nd gen Vmax! From 2009! The vmax makes 200 hp!
