Girl, thanks for all the Filipino mukbangs you did recently. Now I can do a marathon LMAO. For the fresh lumpia, I usually eat it like a cake, slicing it with a fork while eating it, plus I also add a bunch of the sauce. My fav!

Quekiam/kikiam was indeed brought over by the Fil-Chinese ancestors, most of which were from the Hokkien/Fujian province! It's just that certain places have developed their own variants throughout the years, but couple things that remained constant were the tofu skin and the ngohiong/five spice blend. :D

Filipino fresh lumpia is basically an enlarged version of popiah, Hokkien in origin. Everything you ate is Filipino style Hokkien food.

Try fried vegetable lumpia. The sauce for the fried is vinegar. Delicious too

Yummmmmm!!!!! The fresh lumpia is sooooo good. One of my fave. I cut it all up, ( not too tiny, but enough to grab it with a spoon & fork,) mix it ALL together & eat it. Yes, Filipinos eat with a spoon & fork. There’s a technique on how to use both. It’s so easy👌🏻

OMGAWD, YUMMMMMMMMMMMM, I WANT EVERYTHING! Looks soooooooooooo delicious Peggie. I’d cut Lumpia in smaller pieces and use my large fork, and a spoon so I don’t miss any sauce. Those are drowning in delicious sauce so they aren’t meant to be eaten by picking them up. 😊Wish we had that Filipino restaurant near me. 😊

They didn't give you sliced Lemon for the Pancit? It is best paired with a slice or 2 of Bread. You stuffed the bread with Pancit. You should try it one time. So gooooddd😋

Food looks good. Is it Ilocano or Visayan Filipino food? The Lumpia looks different, compared to the regular Ilocano version. Just curious. Thank you for sharing your awesome videos

Malaking kikiam pero mukha ng embotido
@MarvinMaximo8 ай бұрын
Its kikiam. It has a deep fried edible wrapper like lumpia. On the other hand, embotido has no edible wrapper. Embotido is wrapped in Aluminum Foil to form it like a sausage, then steamed...but unlike kikiam, the wrapper is not edible.
