I find P G-H fascinating as a person and as a composer. This is a rather lovely concerto. I also found her other concerto, for viola, engaging. There are three operas that sound as though they would be worth exploring.

Fun little work, I truly enjoyed listening to it, I just heard it first on the radio few minutes ago, but it was near the end, so I came here to see if I could find the whole thing, and here it is, I listen to the complete concerto. Later on in the day, I'll search the web to see if I can find an actual CD containing this work to purchase for my own personal collection. Thanks to whoever downloaded this concerto.

I can't really say I enjoyed this work. The slow movement is average and both the outer ones boarder on irritating. The Romantico for Viola and Orchestra is a far better piece both in orchestration and inventiveness.
