Hi. It doesn't has to do with Satie but with the etic/aesthetic myth of ancient greek people and their idea of youth and school (I guess...).It was the same in the intentions of Satie. Wonderful piece, anyway. And a really underrated composer. 😊🎵🎶❣

Just as good, perhaps better, then Satie's overplayed gymnopedies.
