there is a new boss relic that is completely OP especially with the multiball orb. you cannot get coins anymore, BUT every coin collected damages the targetted enemy by your shots CURRENT damage, which scales with each peg and coin peg hit. it also instantly swaps to the next target when the current one dies if there is another to target. on crucibal 6 i 1 turn killed the 4 squares boss

Yeah at the last Cruciball tier I was actually reloading until I got a good starting relic it was so hard. I ended up winning with Refresher Course+ Orbsium + Double Shaft Potion+ Gift the Keeps on Giving + Electropegnet + extra crits, basically Orbsium only activates regular refreshes once but refreshes from Light Shaft Crits four times guaranteeing that a level 3 Orbsium gets the buff for every time it hits a crit, and due to Gift and Electropegnet it would keep hitting the same crit, refreshing its durability, getting a buff each time, and then keep hitting it until Electropegnet ran out. Funny enough on the same boss AR died to my Orbsium got stuck on a flat crit block and in one turn I got more Muscircle AND Spinesse that he did doing all those reloads, in one turn. I even screenshottes it because I was just stuck there watching it rack up lol

I had a run with the item that nullifies damage during reloads and the item that does damage during reloads. I also managed to remove all orbs wich caused me to always reload. That's probably the easiest and strongest strategy currently in Peglin.

I got a build recently that abused Matryoshka shell, gold fleece, a bunch of extra stats and daggorb(and other orbs but daggorb was the best.) It hit for over 10k on multiple occasions. I've been trying cruciball 8 myself and God is it so tough. My problem is that I get streaks of bad luck and spend like 4 runs making no progress.

I manage to kill the final boss (fat boss) in the first turn without throwing/using an orb with a new relic. It’s power is to deal your orbs current damage each time you gain gold but the pegs with gold don’t give you gold. It’s honestly my greatest achievement in peglin see how it was in cruciball 7. It’s really good only its a boss relic

Watched it now and got a similar combo yesterday but with the relic that deals 20 damage to every enemy when you reload for every reload this fight. Got my Deck down to two balls, could discard 2 balls per rund, instant reload, cannot not take damage and deal 20 damage to everybody, then 40, then 60 ad infinitum....
