It’s madness to think it was the norm then to turn up Saturday night get ruined and have a great night every week at all the super clubs in the uk and festivals in the summer. I honestly think this era of music was the best. Words can’t explain how good them feelings were. We should all vote for some old school nights instead of this junk they play today

Honestly I remember being at the back near the seats. About 20 of us from Deeside went. Looking back then all as mates all together having the time of our lives not a care in the world listening to the great intro and his classic set. There’s no words. They were the best clubbing days. Special era

Back when transitions mattered, because each track had character it was only the best DJs that could master it. Oakey was one of them. Listen to the transition from Van Bellen '20/20 (Saints&Sinners remix) into Insigma - Open Your Eyes ( ? Mix). Perfection! These days every track uses the same beat and bass so they basically mix themselves.

It's almost like somewhere around 2004-2006 the next generation of so called "EDM" smacked trance music in the face and turned it all into garbage. Original trance was never the same after that. RIP

It was called Electro. Electro is the opposite of Trance music. No delay or reverb on the sounds and boring as fuck. Electro like Trance had a solid 4 to 5 year run before Dub Step came along and knocked it off the top. Now it's some Future House bullshit or Bass House LMAO

What a night that was. Did the 3 Gatecrasher NECs then the 4th one godskitchen took over and it wasn’t as good.
