Beida only offer very very limited student dorms bcs its smaller. My visit was so short and because grass is always greener on other side its very hard to say

Which university overall good peking or Tsinghua?

Both universities are very good, and they are both regarded as "prestigious" in China. Both universities offer a great variety of majors, including both Social Sciences and Engineering. I would say Tsinghua is better for Engineering, and Peking University in Social Sciences/Humanities. This is also reflected in the student body, which is predominantly male at Tsinghua (suggesting a focus on STEM), and somewhat even at Peking. I might be biased, since I study engineering at Tsinghua, but I think most people will agree with me on this. Again,this does not mean that studying electrical engineering at Beida, or literature at Tsinghua is bad. Both are great universities in all aspects :).

Haha yeah ofc its department specific but school ratio is 1:3 or 1:2. Beida is more close to 1:1
