They are gorgeous! I have an adult Pek, bit he doesn't stay this spotless! Just because of where I live. When he's groomed he looks like Ruby! They are so fun and have their own personalities! They are great with kids and adults alike! My Pek is named Bob! I love him to pieces! You should consider getting one!!!!

I recently, confiscated? Adopted? Not really sure what to call it. I was at the Dog Pound (and yes it is a kill shelter) to get my dog "Bosley" his tags. He's a year and a half, bull mix. But a lady came to the counter, said she was surrendering a dog. I left, went to my car and I seen her coming to the car next to mine. But I didn't see a dog, so I asked about this dog and she opened the back of her vehicle and there was this little golden dog, looked as if she could be airborne with the wagging of her little bushy tail. I knew it was a Pekingese, and I also knew she could not be left at this place. The woman didn't want to carry her to the spca........so, well, I have a new little dog. Always wanted a little lap dog (Bosley is 80+ so he dont qualify LOL) but after a visit to my vet, she has severe dry eye and has been neglected and she also had a severe ear infection. So, I can handle that, but! She scratches and scratches........now we have a raw spot on her spine by her tail. Should I pour a slap for her to potty on and get some exercise?? I have her now on No Grain food. Need some direction please. I call her Bug'r........my granddaughters nick name. thanks
