I was able to get 100% m-pen and a ton of flat m-pen with taliyah. 0 cd rocks doing more than true dmg to tanks. The issue, imo, is that it's just easier to play bruisers/healer/shielders. You don't need to go for any special builds or setups, just be tanky and non-interactive.

Really enjoying the Arena content. I'd love to see a Nami game - according to the wiki, they changed the base damage and ratios on her W so that it does less healing and more damage. If you are able to stack 1000+ AP like you did in the Nidalee game, the last bounce would hit for more than 2.5k (3.3k if you get 1200+ AP), which is kind of hilarious - and it'd be a lot easier to get all the bounces off because you are always 2v2.

Another buff they did for Ahri, is in her ult on champion take down, the healing from it is increased, and instead of only getting 1 dash back, she gets all 3 back. makes ahri WAY more viable and all around way more fun than in the original arena.

Idk if it's still in the game in this form, but previous arena had Moonstone share a portion of healing and shielding. I loved building it on nunu so that if I healed 1k off a q, my ally also got like 300

hey pekin you're slightly wrong in the beginning riot has started to implement aram changes 'outside' the yellow buff-icon as well for example veigars E has straight up more cd (and not the usual -20 ability haste on all spells) ofc most champions still abide by the +-% balance, but some champs (i think less than a handfull?) have the 'hidden' changes as well

I love that arena shows why bruisers should be weak on summoners Rift. Can 1v1 anyone that also isnt a bruiser and have the same winrate as others. If i feeded as yone i can still at least have fun with a "1v1" on the adc that will have no chance to win.

Pekin! I love healing Nunu can you try building moonstone? It should boost your healing by loads as well as heal your ally from Q with how they changed the wording on moonstone in arena :) lots of off meta healing builds go well in arena (like morde)

I think a large issue with riots "buffs and nerfs" in the for fun game modes is they as always overestimate the value of range in a limited space which still leave bruisers fighters and occasionally tanks by far the strongest class at all times.

the problem with arena is not the bruisers, it's the stupid 10k hp tanks that force people to play tank shredders like fiora, trundle, gwen etc. they only look busted cuz other champs wont last vs those beefy champs

I mean, even worse than bruisers being meta, healing and shielding is OP. People are spamming so much double tanks/enchanters so that they don't really do damage but are impossible to kill, even if you get mediocre augments/anvil. Literally started spamming healing/shielding champs and instantly started winning tons.
