There was a bug where being grounded or rooted wouldn't stop you from backing. It was fixed in 13.8 but I have no idea how long it was in the game for. Chances are it's been in the game for awhile and that's why Pekin remembers it.

Yea it used to not be able to cancel recalls but it did cancel teleports and shen/tf ultis, and since last season it cancels recalls as well, apparently it was a "bug" that it didn't cancel recalls

Another funny trick on singed that helps early game especially is when you fling you can auto attack afterwards while they're in the air flying away for some bonus damage :D obviously this damage is almost totally irrelevent after you're like lvl 5-7 or something but super earlygame its good to know (or if you're running conq to generate stacks)

Wave 2 I recommend getting between tier 2 and tier 3 turret and then execute on the cannon wave. You don't have to kill the cannon wave if you are low but hold that wave there as long as possible and run back to lane

The number one thing to keep in mind as singed: never ever ever die for free. Game is over when you do that. It should cost them a wave or all their sums to kill you every time. Or you should at least mess up the junglers tempo. If you follow this rule playing against singed is insufferable especially if you go warmogs with demolish.

To kill the cannons during proxy, you can fling them for added damage if you think you're safe to do so (you won't be chased and/or ganked). They still die slower, but that can help a lot.

Here are some Singed tips ™ You can cheese with level 2 advantage, especially if you have ignite, because Singed's level 2 is surprisingly strong. If you're going to lose a fight and you're near a small wall, if you position right up next to it you can flip them over the wall and force a mobility ability or flash. It's especially consistent against melee champions. You can buffer your E to guaranteed flash E, even if they flash 90% of the time they will be flung to the spot they were originally going to be flung to. You can animation cancel W with flash to create an almost unreactable root play. I'd love to see you play some more Singed :D

When you play Proxy Singed you should be able to get the first three waves use both potions for the waves while proxying and kite the minions in poison. After your first 2 waves you can proxy at second tower instead and then execute. Singed isn't actually that bad level 1 depending on the setup you take. If you take aery and scorch you can do some early cheese and even get a kill level 2 if you also take ignite. You should play Singed more though he's a lot of fun.
