The only times it triggers me when you don't get plates is when you only need 1 auto to get it and minions will finish it for u but you start walking top or bot because you see a play and then walk back mid because the play ends before you get there so you let the plate gold go for nothing. It feels like you value walking to side lanes over taking the extra gold from plates a little too much sometimes but I guess its just a difference in playstyle.

BT is just more chunky damage plus a shield. Bork is better damage vs tanks, and helps chase. He wasn't struggling to stay on top of people and wasn't facing tanks, and was facing some burst champions. Which overall put a lot more points in favor of BT vs Bork. I'm sure Pekin has his own reasons but that's I go about evaluating items. What are the benefits of each, what am I lacking/needing, then picking the one that checks the most boxes. Edit: To clarify, not sure if Bork or BT is more damage overall, but I meant chunky as in he'll hit harder not counting the Bork passive. So his tumble autos are better. In an extended fight Bork is more damage, but you lose the shield.
