My understanding of how this strat works is: the way bounties, specifically where the bounties are built via CS, are calculated against your team average. By having your top laner constantly roaming it plummets the average, making it easier for THEIR top laner to accrue a CS bounty fairly quickly, which in turn helps to mitigate the gold difference for your team. If you get ahead, great. If you don't immediately get ahead, the enemy team is worth more when they do die.

Honestly the top roaming playstyle heavily reminds me of dota where sometimes a support will straight up just roam all early and mid game. And I was alittle weirded out by the fact that roles are so set in stone when I came to league from dota

It has a lot to do with the culture of reporting anyone who doesn't follow the meta, and a lot to do with Riot trying to strictly organize champs by what lane they're supposed to play in to make it easier to balance

Shen is probably the best top in the game right now. It's insane how much he can pressure a lane and then if they roam, he influences the opposite side of the map. Pre-14 minutes you can win a game hard with correct macro play. Especially good if you have a dive jungler like Vi or Zac, and you just ult them when they dive the backline, or if you have a fed carry you just ult them if they get collapsed on. It's hard to carry if your team doesn't pressure correctly or just runs it down.

She works for NPR and wanted to do a news story on ,"stinky noodles," which she loves! She spoke Chinese so she refused the ccp minders. So every interview she had was canceled. And every media in China (,all ccp mouthpieces) did a hit piece on her. I just thought that damn we are in trouble when a massive population nation, you cant write a good article without political minders. It feels like the "mr jones," movie..about the journalist, 'Gareth Joned,' he wrote about the USSR holodomor, and other atrocities.(Stalin's genocide of ukraine). So the journalist was discredited by all the mainstream news..nytimes etc. TLDR. Minders are never a good sign The LPL and China's other leagues always had a lot of the unique picks, and strats, so I wonder if lol is still going in a few years, if we will see changes because of less kids being able to play and get good.

@@MrDanderskoff but I bet it takes good Macro play for shen....especially with TP nerfs...if that would make TF and shen stronger. But then again...the janna top misses so much, and still does fine, so maybe shen missing some would be fine too. The movement speed is so strong with roaming lol It would be nice to see tahm kench shield also give a % of his own shield to a nearby ally..or something else to make him better in duo lanes.

I play a lot of Shen in top lane and top lane is practically useless right now. The game gets decided heavily by bot lane. Janna/Karma top style of gaming basically ensures all other lanes get ahead. Even if Shen is far ahead(which he will in this strategy), he can't 1 vs 5 and to dependent on your ADC to do the carry. And for China you are asking, well...I haven't follow the two channels you mentioned after they left HK but.... That man who beats up his wife and got away? he probably has connections in the government or paid some people. The CCP works not according to the "rule of law" but the "rule of man". No foreign language policy? That's to keep their people stupid and not connected to the world. It the CCP's way to control their people and hold their power, not the fault of the average Genz. What will happen to League in China? I can take a guess comparing it to how China treats their athletes. The LPL has a good audience(good money/pressure) in China, so it won't be shut off like steam. Also, since kids can still play games but only for a limited amount of time, gifted kids that got into high elo will probably have a choice to become a pro and play. So, LPL won't die in China. Though China is going through unstable times politically right now, anything is hard to say.

Jungle doesn't have this problem as you can only buy jg item if you have smite, but there's no support only summoner that it would work for. You also can't go off of what role they got in the lobby, because role swaps happen pretty frequently and would mess with the system then.

Making support item a rune sounds pretty bad, you would be locking every support into taking that same rune. Support does have a bit of variety when it comes to rune choices and locking it into one rune tree wouldn't work too well. They also couldn't lock it to whoever picked support, because then role swaps become impossible to do.

The problem tends to be if you're playing a champ that doesn't excel at taking towers then regardless of your build, by the time you take top tower it'll be at least 10 minutes and if the enemy has got their team 5 kills off of that it might be over

i ve seen a vid of this where the enemy picked trndamere against janna built hullbreaker and was farming minions in their base at 17 mins, they had a very tough time beating him because he was VERY fed but eventually won (vid is on nidhogg yu channel) so id say picking tryndamere or nasus or sion into this and just splitting 24/7 works best into this

my biggest issue with strats like these is that many people overemphasize the impact of a roaming utility top laner but also neglect the fact to mention that you can literally do this as a support player in the bot lane. wow top lane janna/karma so strong omg 😍 when in actuality, support players execute it the same way in bot lane with 0 recognition. it’s strange that many people shit on enchanter players for being pansy e-girls or femboys but proceed to somehow come up with strats like this.

Bring back movement speed differences for melee and ranged champs. Why do karma and janna have 335 base movespeed and Aatrox only have 10 more at 345? I remember when ranged champs used to have 300-310 movespeed while melees has 320-325. It made the game much slower and rotating between lanes take an extra second or 2. I think that the catchup exp is the real problem as stated by the other person in your video. You should be rewarded when you stomp your opponent not punished. Problems. 1. too much movement speed in the game. (base movespeed too high in general, Galeforce, Crown) 2. too much handholding (homegaurds when you die, catchup exp)

The nerf catchup exp mindset is so cringe. The changes were put in place so that the better team overall wins, instead of just instantly making a game unwinnable if any1 on a team ints a bit while getting used to their lane. Ironically, it's you that needs the handholding. If you can't play well consistently over the entire period of the game, and capitalize on the windows you get for victory, you don't deserve the win.
