Honestly it was the advice I needed too. I also primarily use the Greatsword and don’t like shields, so I don’t usually block in Elden Ring. But Greatsword has decent guard boost and damage negation so I did it for the fight and beat him within a few tries. Gonna start using guard more now 😂

I had to use the mimic tear for this fight I was getting so shit on. Shot out to Pekora she’s a real one for going in here with the guts sword and no summons like a chad. My second play through of the DLC I’ll fight him no summons he can’t be harder than Malenia with no summons…right 😅I was able to do that but maaaaan idk this just looks insane.

Its because in japanese the lore is way more straight forward and easier to understand than in the english localization where they use cryptic old english with squiggly sentence structures. there are also alot of mistranslations.

@@MikedieONE woah a thing, thing japan moment in the wild. ansbach literally says verbatem in the English dub that miquella is using lord mohgs body as the vessel for his king consort, discarding his soul and using only his empty shell. not only that but ansbach gives you a letter to give to freyja where she says that miquella seeks to revive radahn right after. it can't be more straight forward than that imo

Pekora is actually better than most of us with souls games, I died over 300 times and need 3 days to win this fight. Alot of hardcore streamer die alot and need 5-7 hours to win.

@@NinzaQZ I was getting turned to paste at 15, even with dragoncrest greatshield, opal tear, and good armour. Went all the way to 20 to get into normal boss damage range.

Oh brother...that title spoiled me the last boss. I was purposefully watching Pekora VOD with a delay to do the dlc on my own. Using a colossal sword and no summon without some brokenly overpowered build that's super impressive. I only did it extremely buffed once with Marais executioner and once lightning flask, both of which one shot stuff outside the DLC and only take a handful of hits to take him out, and I used a mimic on top of that lol.
