Rushia's legacy keeps living on in the memories of FanDeads, hololive fans and marvelous works such as this game. Speaking of the Makai/Demon World (or "The Underworld"), its curious how it looked like hololive wanted to create a group or saga similar to that of Secret Society holoX that spanned through three generations. Mel (Gen 1), Ayame, Choco, Shion (Gen 2) and Rushia (Gen 3) come from the Underworld, or were students or personnel of the Underworld Academy. Even if not specified, its possible that Towa also comes from the Makai World.

Honestly I don’t envy the devs when it comes to deciding if graduated girls will be added or not. Sana was already in when she graduated and it would be unfair to remove her, Coco left in good graces but I could still see it being awkward, Rushia? She was terminated so I could see that being a problem. It’s one thing if it was purely something fans played but the talents also stream it and you wouldn’t wanna make things awkward for them.

I actually don't see adding Rushia as awkward at all. This is a fan's game., no profit. Some people may hate, but I don't think they will even play the game. I aam sure a lot more people want to play as her. But again, it is up to the devs.

@@Assasin2 I’m really tired keep repeatedly telling this to OVERSEAS fans, but I’ll sat it anyway since you guys are hell of dum dums. There is NO RULE stating that any of the talents or fans are forbidden from talking about Rushia or whatever. Sure she was outed by termination rather than graduated, but it’s not like she’s doing a crime or making a big violation to the company, something like Raito from Nijisanji did. Pekora already been talking about Rushia sometimes on freetalk stream or marshmallow reading, Lamy did too, some other members also did several times on Minecraft whenever they found Rushia’s belongings. Whatever Rushia did it DOESN’T REMOVE the FACT that she was once a Hololive member and was a good one, neither she ever did any behaviors which violating Hololive name or putting anyone in danger or crimes. Only an oopsie from her accidental leak of Discord DM which lead further to chaos and her mistake on going to the wrong person, that is all, nothing more. There was no statement from Cover for anyone to never speak of her or even put her as taboo, not at all. So YOU guys just stop putting her as if she’s a criminal, when the member’s clearly don’t at all. Then I’m betting there will be another OVERSEAS bringing up about Hitomi Chris whom none of the members ever talking about, thinking her situation might apply similar to Rushia. For Lord sake, dear NOOBS listen to me the great VETERAN of Hololive fans who was there when Gen 1 debuted, Hitomi Chris was barely ever bever dever zever debuting at all, she only had one or two introduction video I don’t remember how many but sure less than three, then that’s all. Nobody’s talking about her because she BARELY EXISTING, none even of the Gen 1 ever got to know her at all. That IS why, none of the members ever talking about her, she’s like that two characters Cover ever shown (remember two whom one of them was made by Lui’s artist?) but never actually stepping her feet into the platform. So for dear Lord, stop bringing up about Chris as if you NOOBS ever get to know her, and ever worse comparing Rushia to her. None among Aloe, Coco, nor Rushia are forbidden to talk about or being taboo-ed at all. Neither even Chris, but who’s gonna talk about someone getting cancelled before even debut? I really hate how this incorrect type of mindset has been spreading wild amongst Overseas fans. So I hope you guys starting to understand better now.

I was there when coco left hololive im like why would hololive let coco leave she knows enough n his number 2 in recieving donations then ruchan.... ruchan was the number 1 who recieved donations then they fire her no second chance. Of all VTuber terminations Rushia was probably the most reasonable one. Couple days after the gossip started, Cover gave an official statement to stop misinformation and harassment. She then went on a drama channel to "clear" herself from all accusations and posted tweets regarding it on Mikeneko. The drama was so big that the only logical thing to do was to do nothing, but she made it worse. Blatantly violated ToS, got exposed for DMing donators private messages, and potentially harming the company with lawsuits.

it seems that Rushia to be used as a character in this game is in a bad position but if we think Rushia is a taboo they shouldn't have put at least elements or references about Rushia in this game, one of the most striking things about her is the Cutting Board. but in the future it will be Kay Yu's right to install Rushia or not. Rushia's figure is actually just a matter of sentiment from netizens who still remember the case that happened to her. even though not all of these cases were due to Rushia's mistake but the roots were from the stupid fans who urged her to make a fatal mistake. and most importantly Rushia's problem with Hololive and Cover actually ended peacefully so there's no problem with Rushia being used as a character.

What kind of problem? I dont think devs have any problem with her considering they did put in references. Game is not official so I doubt cover could have any problems with it (altho given situation I wouldnt be surprised if devs comunicated with them whether or not they can put her in). I personally think it could be nice tribute to fallen necromancer.

@@migaru7362 Cover didn't allow holomems to play the holofunk mod (also unofficial hologame) because of Aloe, who was also taboo just like Rushia, and was already referenced by Kay Yu sneakily. References are different from an explicit appearance in the game I'd imagine. In the first place if cover didn't think Rushia was that taboo they would have just left her channel alone like they did with Coco or Sana. The fact that Chris isn't in the update for Gen 1 (I think? Unless she's some sort of secret unlockable character or something) is already mildly concerning since it could potentially mean there's a chance Kay Yu wanted to include the character but got told off by cover or something (although it's far more likely due to a lack of possible references/Kay Yu not knowing the Chris enough or maybe not knowing her at all). I sure hope cover lets Rushia, Aloe, Suzaku, Kaoru and maybe even the CN girls in the game as actually playable characters.

In case of Coco and Sana, they're graduated but still Cover related, which mean their character is both copyright by personal and Cover, but in Rushia case, she got fired, it mean Cover already cut tie with her no matter they think she's taboo or not. Her character also copyright by Rushia and Cover, which mean if Cover want to use her image (leave her channel alive), they still need pay for her, which is nonsense. Her youtube channel in fact only get privated, not deleted (it's still there, it's just Cover have no right to use it anymore). Her twitter still there too, since they gain nothing from it.

Does that mean they (Cover or Hololive) don't mind if any Fanmade uses the Rushia character? what matters is the sentiment of the fans. but like you said, everything depends on Kay Yu's decision to use Rushia's character or not. if Kay Yu really used the character Rushia in Gen 3, what do you think?
