That is so epic mate, this whole video was just so satisfying… jig jig clunk! 🙌 I didn’t know yakkas were ever found that far north, they are one of the best baits down here in South East Queensland 👌 Always great tips and laughs, enjoy that nice weather while you can bro! 🎣🤙
@PelagicPursuit892 жыл бұрын
yeah I had no idea about yakkas as well. im going to do a vid soon using only bait jigs and dropping livies so it'll be interesting what's down there

I'm sure you've heard of the old saying Matty, 'those that cannot do, teach'. It definitely does NOT apply to you. There's a few good channels out there, but none that are as informative as yours, and imo that's what sets you apart. Thanks for sharing your knowledge 🙌

In Indonesia we call it kepet technique, putting bait fish on the assist when fish aren't on the mood. Nanny is such a good eating fish. $5 a Kg, you're literally lifting a $20-$30 for every animal 😂
@troyfuller352 жыл бұрын
No way mate, what are the chances you caught that fish without hooking it..

hey matty, down here more southern/central queensland we get big knobby snapper, much like nannies, with gouges on their head. apparently some people think its from them headbutting hard reef and corals to get at the stuff that lives inside, like parrotfish sort of. be interesting to find out!👍👍

Mate you just gave to try sliders, or kaburas 100 gram orange are brilliant on snapper. And kingfish. My best is a 24lb snapper on a bruised banana slider, and a 16kg kingfish on an orange. You need as bendy a rod as possible and a slow wind, a turn a second. Deadly. You never gave to put bait on them.

Hi Legend, For one of the fish you caught , you mentioned that it was “white too”. I know some fish’s colour may vary or get more pale than others, is it a benchmark the fact that this one was “white” or more pale than any other? Quality? Tasting? …etc… Thank you
@PelagicPursuit892 жыл бұрын
I think they come off the more sandy areas being that slightly white colour ( no difference in fish or fillet) and for some reason don't get as bad Barra trauma so they look way better for the camera
