Epic fish, I know you didn't target it as a Grouper, but on your casting rod with a lure, it's definitely a lifetime achievement award.

Without coming across as someone having a genuine dig at you, my question is out of interest more than anything. I'm north of you and worked out in about 5 mins where you are catching those fish in this clip and the previous one you released. Just buy looking at that point and hills in the back ground. It's super unfortunate how good google earth is these days when you know a rough location. I know you earn a living from youtube so a like and share is worth $$ to you. I enjoy your clips and find you pretty doen to earth and easy to watch. I hate the frothing brah clowns and people who have been given a good old spoon feeding from people like yourself then go out and make clips. Anyway after listening to you talking about how you have been fishing solid for two months and have found the most satisfying fishery at your front door and at risk for blowing the spot due to landmarks you won't put anything out for a few months as you want to enjoy it some more. You also stated that you do realise it's going to probably ruine it for locals that most likely already fish it, im genuinely interested in your thought process and feelings or maybe decisons of having something to enjoy for years to come, to take your kids to and watch them catch giants or ruine a spot for those that have probably fished it for years all for financial gain, a few more followers, likes and subscribes. I know you are probably going to get a bit upset about the question but please take it as a genuine inquiry into your thoughts on the whole youtube gig and the pressure to perform and put up clips catching trophy fish. I have no personal attachment to where you fish either, so thats not why I'm asking you this. I can see you definitely have some sort of respect for other anglers as you definitely identified the downfalls in this clip of what releasing the footage will do. Cheers.

Вы правы... Люди снимающие видео для KZbin очень сильно портят обстановку для завсегдатаев этих мест, для местных рыбаков.
@PelagicPursuit897 ай бұрын
totally respect the question mate. in previous years I've done a lot of fishing in the blue water 100km+ out and find all my own areas so no one could ever be upset with me about ruining an area. now that I'm fishing locally I don't target schools of fish I target single big swimming fish and most importantly Ill happily show people where I fish they still need to put in the hard work to know which tide, moon phase, water quality...etc to fish to actually get a bite out of those fish. when I was talking about releasing footage, there has been multiple people film the area before me and post multiple videos before me. its just at a very particular time the fish are biting in a certain area and then they will stop and spread out again. while this is happening ill hold onto footage and let myself and locals fish it while that's happening and once the bite stops ill release the footage. I actually encourage people to try and go target the fish I'm targeting in the exact same area because 99% of them won't be able to catch the fish and will appreciate and respect a lot more of what I do. I totally understand I'm in it for the long haul and do try my hardest to respect other fisherman and also my own future, ill never keep everyone happy but I do try. hope this answers your question

Prossy is well Known for biggggg Barra everyone here knows it just like the fitzy a quick google search will show but knowing the rest of the details is what makes the different I know many many people who have fished both rivers never to catch a 1m+ Barra so putting in the hrs still makes the difference

Making spots public is a major topic to all anglers (but also hunters, gatheres and even tourist)... It spoils the sites, sometimes it's just a short hype, sometimes it's forever. But that's inevitable in the age of social media, information spread around...

Hi Matt Love the Garmin setup for scoping 👌 With the Garmin you should do some screen recording through active captain app and add into your videos so we can see the epic eats in split screen
@PelagicPursuit897 ай бұрын
only problem is I feel like id be giving away too much at the start. live definitly gives you an advantage but I still feel like people need to spend the hours learning angles and the fine details to get the bite. I don't want to give that away just yet
@joshuagray28597 ай бұрын
@@PelagicPursuit89 totally understand where your coming from and yes I have learnt that myself very fast just because you can see the fish don’t mean they will eat and the lure placement is key. Love the content even without the screen recording 👍
