Pelican 1510 Case

TSA has searched this case 10 trips in a row by checking it in. Please make a case that looks like a normal suitcase so I can get TSA off my back. The last crew ripped apart my foam looking for nothing so now I have to buy another set of foam.

@@hex1795 I have one, it is. Some parts click into place or are screwed down. If you unscrew everything you can take it all apart

@@countdracula436 Is the handle that pulls out to wheel/roll the case...., is it solid? I ask because when he pulled it out in the video, it looked flimsy. I'm needing this case to pull 140lbs of weights, thus needing a solid handle to withstand rolling such heavy weight. Thanks for your time!

@@tribzman3977 It's all solid. It's hard to describe but if you had a traditional carry on rolling suitcase with a telescoping handle- the handles are very flimsy and don't give much confidence long term. It's wiggling at X amount of points of failure with many small pieces making up the larger whole. With the Pelican case, it has some give at that single point of failure, I think by design potentially; but it shouldn't (in my experience) cause any issues since all the pieces are large chunky pieces of plastic and/or are screwed down. 140 lbs is a bit outside my normal weight range in the case though so take my observation with that in mind. The good thing is that if the handle slide-out portion does give, you can replace it or tighten the screws, etc. There should be a way to address the issue, *if* one happens at all.

I was just asking another commenter who has this model. I need to pull 140lbs of weights, and that thin bendable handle doesn't look like it would be solid/strong enough. Grrr...
