Pelican Bass Raider 10E, Trailer Talk

Hi KZbinrs!
With all the interest in modifying Bass Raiders, I noticed there's not much discussion about what kind of trailer we all need to be thinking of to haul, launch, recover and store your boat on. I hope this sparks some good discussion & exchange of ideas. You can see more about my trailer on another of my videos. I'd really like to see what others have done as well!

Yes your absolutely right my jet ski trailer has made launching and loading my Raider simple and effortless.

Can you send me a link to your spare tire carrier? They only ones that I can find are so big and bulky I just won’t mind to go up under my bass raider exactly like yours.

I got mine from Continental Trailers. It's just a U-bolt that fits through the bolt holes on the rim. It goes arounf your trailer fram and attaches with nuts of some kind...

Can I ask what size square u-bolts did you use on your winch stand? I got the same one and can’t find the correct hardware to mount it on my trailer tongue as you have

Harbor freight or Tractor Supply should carry them...

Very true Jim I bought this boat to carry in the back of my truck. Then I built a deck and a trailer was a must unless have help by another person or you don’t mind taking it apart every time. I built a flatbed out of an old jet ski trailer I posted it on my channel.

I got a motorcycle trailer. Works fine with a 2 feet overhang. My Bass Raider is unmodified though so it is light.

Where did you get the red piece I'm looking at? I'd like to have one of those for my trailer......and I'd also like to know where you got the hinge.....that's a cool idea also that I'd like to pursue.....

I don't have an outboard on my Raider and loading is a bitch in the wind......I always have to wade out at least to my knees......I've tried several different methods but nothing has worked for me....any ideas?

where did you get the swing away arm from and what was the price of the arm?

It's a "Fulton" swing hinge. You can find them on ebay etc... $40-$60...
