Our sin seperates us from God bible says he who sins is of the devil for this purpose was sent to destroy the works of sin in our life 1John3:8.. My uncle was on the main line in PB and he sent home some art work from a Southerner from 18th street that would sell panos with pen work on them, man they were amazing.
@213idk4 жыл бұрын
Sadly, 2 of the 3 homeboys that jumped me in to my varrio back in 1990 ended up spending 10 plus years in the PB shu. Both of them are very talented artists. I have drawings that they sent me on my wall to this day. They both eventually got out of there and are doing their time on level 4 yards now, but I wonder sometimes how much of a toll that type of isolation has done to them mentally. I am extremely blessed that I was able to turn my life around at young age and be where I am at today. I wish they were home doing what you are doing DUBS.
@magical80132 жыл бұрын
That isolation definitely messes with you, I can't imagine doing that much time in the shu. I've done about 10 years all together, but I got out like 3 or 4 times. Maybe about a year and half segregation time because of stupid stuff I did in the prison. I'll tell you one thing, when you get out it feels so weird being a part of the community. I had to hop off the bus when it was too crowded because I didn't like people standing really close to me. I had crazy anxiety and the little stuff that people would do out here, that nobody bats an eye too could get you stabbed in the prison. So I had to relearn how to not get so defensive and fights with everybody out here. It took a while for me to hold down a job. Mostly because I would have these outburst and call people on. I'm doing a lot better now and I've been out of lockup for about 4 years. I've held a job for about 18 months, one of the longest jobs I held since I was 18. It definitely affects you in a really negative way. A lot of people can't take it so they end up going back., you just have to learn to accept that we're not in prison anymore. And you cannot become institutionalized because you will never leave that place. Try to enjoy the freedom you have. Because that place is for the fucking Birds.
@GardenerEarthGuy Жыл бұрын
I lived in Crescent City and had guards as neighbors... One giant bald guy kept all his dogs in cages and would yell at them while moving them one cage to another. I couldn't even use my backyard because you'd hear this going on and it was creepy. Another guard used to shake down this hippie who was growing weed in his house. You could tell when he was trimming by people staying over and pizza boxes for a few days, then months of nothing. Right after the friends left you'd see the guard come from the hippie house with a paper grocery bag and strutting. Pretty messed up town.

Damn, Dubs! You have come a long way as a content creator. And obviously as a person. I used to dislike you and Gunner because of all the talk the gossip girl KZbinrs were spreading. But when I took the time to watch you both, you both come off more genuine and real than most. I'm sure that's one of the many reasons you are successful. Watching this video compared to yesterday's is like night and day. You're a success story. Idk if you have ever thought about it, but if there was a story on your life it might give so many hope and inspire others to change.

What advice you’d give to upcoming COs to avoid making crucial mistakes?
@Dubsv3 жыл бұрын
First, I would tell a new CO to disregard the majority of what the academy told them about convicts. Any new CO, if he is going to a level 4, he/she will get exactly what he/she gives. A cop that goes to work and minds his/her business, they never have problems. Convicts notice the ones that are making a living, and will show more respect. New COs should remember that those 6ft of property those men have is all they have in the world, especially the letters and pictures. When a CO hits a pad, respect that 6ft. No one behind those walls, whether wearing blue or green can be a pussy. And finally, your main priority every time you walk onto that yard, is to be able to walk back off that yard and see your family.
