I love this video. I saw this boat in my local sporting good store and I know NOTHING about boating. You've given me so much info to chew on in 8 minutes.

I HAVE THE SAME BOAT! (ALONG WITH 10+ KAYAKS) My motor is a Mercury 3.5 I've got mine set up and ready to go but haven't put it in water since I bought it. The transom bottom was worn through almost all the way across but I've repaired it stronger than original. The motors throttle was not turning the carb lever but I fixed that with a scrap piece of SS coiled tig welding rod. Got the whole set up for $350.00. The registered owner said it was stolen from him but doesn't want it back in that condition and agreed to transfer it to me for the sellers info.. Done & done!

Here we are 6 months later and still trying to get the title transferred.... @TPWD is hell to deal with! I've decided to name my boat the "PELI-CAN'T" It's listed on CL for $500, Of course if I actually sell it I'll get a call that the title is in haha!

I’ve got the same boat with a Parsun 2.6. I load, launch & reload out of the back of my truck by myself all the time. At boat landings and kayak launch’s. I did make a support extension that goes in my receiver. It’s perfect for skinny water redfish. Not fast but adequate. I’m very pleased with the intruder and Parsun 2.6.

Great video. I've been in that area on my kayak and paddle. A bit difficult for longer distances. Thanks for the info on this boat. I'll have to consider these options.

I have a 3.5 Mercury 4 stroke and they sell a kit to make the motor a 5 horsepower the kit comes with it a bigger carburetor and an aluminum prop

Thanks for the awesome vids and walkthrus!!! Ive been looking for my next yak but now that i have a family of young ones, I've really been looking for something that allows me to take them out (one at a time). This is fantastic solution and the pricepoint with motor is less than a motorized kayak. Thanks again buddy - awesome stuff! I think this will allow me to continue my fishing - but family style!

turn into the swell... we've had some boats wake us. too big of a swell would probably swamp it. small chop is ok. we don't take it into choppy water much. it's mainly our "poling flats skiff"

I have a similar set up but with a sun dolphin american 12 on a 2.5 mercury. Any tips on how to set up the trim i feel like mine is slow and drags alot, yours looks like its glides quick in the water.

Do you still rock this boat still at times these days? I just got my hands on a free 5hp Mercury and am staring hard at teh Milha Lite Skiff hull. @$3,500 it is much more pricy but much nicer though too. I want to get a trailer for it too. Then call it a day and start hitting the oyster flats and cypress flats with my kids. The thing has two large fishing decks too… and tons of storage.

Bout the heaviest has been maybe 230 lbs up front. Preforms well as u see in vids.

Can you make a video on your Boat Dolly I've got a couple ideas on what to make and about 20 different size/types of wheels Kinda looks like yours is simply 2 "T"'s with a couple cross bars

Thanks in advance but... I just re-watched the video and didn't catch that you said you're using a WILDERNESS SYSTEMS kayak dolly... Already googled it and going to get out my pipe bender and make one out of 1" EMT Conduit and canopy fittings! Thanks for all your amazing content! Manuel Z

Holds rain. But when loading out I just tip to side! It's light
