Definitely interested in one of those .probably a damn site easier to find a bag that it fits in than for that remington vought that i have .i do love the barrel through air cylinder design its changing the look of air rifles for the better .i think that the artemis M40 was the first time ive seen it being done . Agreed I love the look of the jts bolt action but not sure when it's coming to the uk. Love it if drs had a bolt as prefer over leaver

Decent result for a breezy day, lots of pellets only showing horizontal drift because of the wind. I really fancy one of these, looks ideal as a walking around the woods gun.

It is very well suited for wood walk up hunting . I have the classic 500mm like this one shown and it's so light on the arm and very point able.

@@kelvinsparks4651 That's impressive. I currently have a HW100 bullpup (great gun btw, wouldn't sell it for a profit) but the DRS would save me close to a kilo. And a kilo saving makes a difference over half a day.

H&N Barracuda 8s 8.44 and the Barracuda lights 9.65 work superb in one from what I have been told

Tried seven different types and weights of pellets ( except for baracuda'8's 🤔 not had enough time this week) surprisingly the only one mine didn't seem to like was Airarms diablo field 4.51,I'm going with H+n FTT'S 4.52 pellet on pellet at 30yds( zero wind).

Can you get the 600mm barreled version non-FAC?? Just for more air capacity more than anything?? Everywhere I’ve looked you can only get the 600mm length barrel specced in the FAC models? Any info would be awesome

Pellet testing best done without wind, preferably indoors, nevertheless initial results in the wind are descent..

Are the regulator accessible, i know you have to remove stock to adjust hammer spring

User manual shows hammer spring adjustment and regulator adj points ( Allen/hex keys needed). also has a port on the front of the plenum to attach a gauge for reg setting.👍

just wondering, did you do a chronograph test to find out what ft/lb the gun was running at or are they adjustable like other FX guns?

In .22, they are claiming 915 fps with 15.89 gn pellets, decent hunting velocity, does not appear to be quick adjustable.

In contrast, my FAC HW100 carbine propels an 15.89 gn pellet at 845 fps

Fx drs only have 1 pressure gauge. Regulator gauge or pressure gauge ?

It is sadly fill pressure. Other models will allow for a gauge on the plenum / magazine, but not the sub 12 as its magazine are not a plenum but just a plug so to say. The big plenum for the pro or 700 mm FAC classics it have a option too fir the angled gauge mount you can see on some of the current / older rifles I am not interested in fill pressure as i shoot bench and always connected to a 12 L bottle, if i want to know i look at the bottle fill kit gauge.
