Pembrey Country Park, in the South of Wales, is a council run site that's well worth a visit - loads to do and see, and a bar and cafe that serves decent grub...

I live 3 miles from the park and take my MH there frequently. The site is set in a massive country park with one of the best beaches in the country ( google Pembrey beach). There's a shame you didnt go there. Next time. It ,s a 10 min walk from the site. There's a motorhome and Caravan Club site next to the entrance of the park. About 400m from the site you stayed on. Much quieter. Let me know when you down next and I'll come for a pint of Gower Gold. Also try The Ship Aground pub which is 25 mins walk along the coastal cycle track. Well worth a visit.

The road to the dog friendly bit of the beach was, they told us, washed out, so we didn’t manage it - next time, though, for sure. By then, the new scoot will be with us, so David will have fewer issues with rough terrain. Deffo up for a pint or twelve of the Gower Gold!!!

It’s going to be interesting to see what you think of red kite, we loved it there, but they’ve now put an electric meter on each pitch, safe travels to you both

It was great to meet you both at Pembrey Country Park. I'm so glad that you enjoyed your time with us as much as you did. We all appreciate your review of the park and the staff that make the park the wonderful place that it is. I myself consider it a privilege to work here with such a great team. We very much look forward to your next visit and if your really lucky maybe I will teach you to suck eggs 😂. Kindest regards from Dan your friendly campsite warden. 😀

As “our” face of the park, Dan, you did an amazing job of welcoming us and looking after us. I’ll bring some Kinder eggs next time, and we can have a sucking session!!!
