Pembrokeshire~ Blue Lagoon & Porthgain, 25/10/2016.

Another visit to the Stunning Coastline in North Pembrokeshire in West Wales. It features the Blue Lagoon at Abereiddi, that is famous for it's Cliff Diving, followed by the Historic Port at Porthgain....A very enjoyable day out, and I hope you enjoy the visits.

It certainly is Andrei, especially this time of year, but it is also very deep, hence the popularity of it for diving, I'm sure that this is the only fishing boat out of Porthgain, and probably supplies the small fish shop on the Village with Crabs etc....Bob

Stunning scenery Bob, the lagoon looks wonderful and not the sort of thing you'd expect to find in the U.K. An enjoyable haunting soundtrack too

All hand held Chris, but I was pleased with the results....that water is cold, hence the need for a Wet Suit.....Best wishes...Bob

Wonderful video Bob....very haunting Music....gives such a 'Time gone by ' feel to it all. Lovely Coastal scenery with an amazing amount of industrial Heritage.....(Poldark on BBC is also very similar. ) Loved that Blue Lagoon...i would need a dry suit to jump off that wall or i'd freeze up..ha ha.... The Seagull looked good practicing it's takeoff's and landings on the small Fishing Boat. Superb upload ...really enjoyed it.....Penelope keith's programme has done You proud. I notice that the harbour wall must be made of the local stone - it blends-in with the cliffs as though it was a natural formation!

To be honest, Bob, I'd never really considered a harbour wall to be inherently beautiful, though, if you'd limped your way back to port in rough seas, it would be a beautiful sight. It's certainly a spectacularly rugged coastline, though, and the water in the lagoon is inviting, though probably quite dangerous due to thermal shock.
