Pen and Ink Log Notebook: A New System

I am so glad you shared this! I’m considering how to create my “Pen Log Book” to organize my inventory and record pen and ink combinations. I had a similar system, but recorded pens on the ink page instead of inks on the pen page. I need to start in a book with more pages to accommodate growth. Last week I added all 131 ink sample vials to dedicated pages in my Hobonichi Weeks because I ran out of room in my other system. I organized pages by retailer. One page is dedicated to “inks from Gail” 😂. I still love my ColoRing cards on the Rolodex for my full bottles. I am behind and need to update that as well. You did a fabulous job with your pen illustrations. I know that was enjoyable for you. Thanks for the inspiration! ❤

I love this setup!! I have mine set up similarly but I wish I would have left more pages to log the inks in each pen! I only have 1 pg of A6 for each 🤦🏼‍♀️

I've got that same notebook in grid. Good way to use it! That Conklin pen seems very thick/wide...do you mind that? Is it heavy in the hand? did notice the price dropped on Amazon.

I like the width and it’s not too wide to grip. The price drop from the 50 range to the 40 range easily the clincher for me…and that I could easily return it if I ended up not liking the color in person or the nib.
