lovely use of the fude nib, getting a fine line when used upside down....I love working with my fude nibs. Niaz, I have a tip for u to get ink onto the page. Just place your pre wet brush onto the nib, back or the front or both, it doesn't matter...this will release the ink and with practice u will instinctively know how much u need of each watercolour effect. Also to get a lighter value of ink using nib, just dip the nib into your water and this will lighten the value of ink for your line. Hope this helps and the fellow member's. Lovely piece and watching u I realise that I always make the heads of my people too big, so thank u for that tip Niaz. love Alli X

beautiful sketching!! I wonder, what kind of paper are you using that it can handle both fountain pen and water brushes??
@JannekeVisser-h8cАй бұрын
Probably watercolour paper. Maybe hot pressed, which is the smoothest variety.

I believe "Pen and Ink" refers to a Dip Pen and Ink Well...What you are using is a "Fountain Pen."

A very beautiful work but apparently a copy from a photo, not the act of "urban sketching."
