Is he having laugh with the dismissal of the penalty. Just to help him: It is an offence if a player: * deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball * touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised

Veltman scooped the ball away. Even if he was shoved, it was so incredibly naive. In the past, when there was no VAR, he may have gotten away with it, but these days, every single thing you do on the pitch, is under scrutiny. Every club in the league will win and lose with VAR. It isn't going anywhere though, and players have to be extra mindful of that.

He should have been sent off. imagine his mood if that had happened? the other point is. there were 11 men on the pitch who didn't believe that Brighton were going to win.
