PENANG ISLAND in 4K - Travel Guide to MALAYSIA. ALL sights + Drone

Penang is also called 'the pearl of the Orient'. This city has an illustrious past and a lot of hidden treasures. It is a paradise for travel enthusiasts, with a lot of history, culture, good food and architecture. Because it was a British colony, there are still many colonial buildings. After that, the city of Georgetown became a trading post for the Chinese, who also left behind their historic structures. On the jetties on the water, they still live the traditional way. We also visit Little India, the oldest Thai temple, the skyscrapers and much more. After an earlier city trip in Kuala Lumpur, a visit to the jungle in Taman Negara, the high mountains in the Cameron Highlands and this journey of discovery in Penang, we will then conclude the journey on the wonderful island of Langkawi!
We make our trip through Malaysia during a year-long world tour. We may even continue to travel indefinitely. On New Year's Day we started in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the Canary Islands. Then you saw us in Oman, Cape Verde, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Tobago, Grenada, the Bahamas, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, the Galapagos Islands, Brazil, Qatar, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam. Malaysia is already our nineteenth destination. Follow us on this world tour, first in Penang, the rest of Malaysia and then to many more beautiful destinations! This is one of my favorite places in the world, the perfect combination of culture, nations, luxury, nature and food. You just have anything you need in one little Island. I hope to come back one day! The people there are the most friendly I've ever met. Maybe it's the sun idk. Recommend!

Beautiful place. I had family who married into the people there. Goes back to the 16th century. Family records that they would travel by boat across all the islands and roast breadfruit on their family picnics!!😊

I've been to Penang and Georgetown was good. It is mainly dominated by Chinese influences for sure. But I actually preferred Langkawi over Penang though even though the latter was good

I have visited over 35 countries with probably 20 countries in Asia alone, most Mediterranean countries (Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Malta, Cyprus and Turkey) , Indian Ocean Islands (Maldives, Seychelles, Mauritius), a little bit of North Africa (Morocco, Egypt and Tunisia), a little bit of the Caribbean (St. Lucia and Jamaica), USA and Australia. But I have not been to Central and South America at all. Not done Scandinavian countries, and also all of Western Europe (except France) as well as Eastern Europe and Russia considering that I am from the UK myself

Hi! For the hotels and the comfortable places along the beach I would have to say Langkawi. Our little boy liked Penang too, but the monkeys, birds and all kinds of other animals on Langkawi were so special for him 😁👍🏻

Hi! Yes when I was there for sure. I didn't need permits and even had contact for these videos with Malaysia's tourism board. I don't know about any recent updates.
